Why settle for ordinary when you can experience the extraordinary with the SolidDrive SD-1 Drywall Surface Mount Actuator in Titanium This sleek and modern device attaches seamlessly to drywall and similar surfaces using our patented cantilever spring mounting bracket, making installation a breeze. Each SD-1 is meticulously designed to deliver one channel of high-quality audio, making it a high-tech addition to your audio setup.
An optional equalization module is available to optimize the SD-1 for use on drywall, ensuring you get the best sound quality possible. The SolidDrive SD-1 employs innovative, patent-pending dual-voice coil technology housed in a durable aluminum enclosure. This technology works in harmony with high-powered neodymium magnets and dual symmetrically opposed motors to convert audio signals into powerful vibrations.
These vibrations are then transferred directly into solid surfaces, transforming them into speakers. The result is high-quality, full-range sound radiating from the entire surface with a frequency response of 60 Hz to 15 kHz. The symmetrically opposed neodymium magnets and specially engineered mounting hardware result in hidden planar-source acoustics, creating an acoustically uniform listening space.
The SolidDrive SD-1 is not just a product; it's a patent-pending technology with lasting visual appeal. It delivers maximum audio performance by mounting inside walls, on tables, or directly to glass surfaces. With four SolidDrive options, you can ensure maximum performance across multiple substrates including desktops, glass, metal, wood, ceramics, laminates, and composites.
For drywall applications, the SD-1 offers sturdy mounting thanks to a patent-pending, galvanized steel balanced cantilever spring bracket that attaches directly to studs. Glass models come with a proprietary, double-sided VHB adhesive disc, and surface mount models can be attached directly to the surface through a custom-designed mounting foot. Desktop models ship with a silicone pad specifically engineered to transfer maximum acoustical energy to the substrate. All mounting hardware is included with each SolidDrive, making it a stylish and convenient choice for your audio needs.
