The small speaker is just 18cm long and triangular in profile, you charge it up then you are ready, it acts like a microphone and speaker when connected to your phone via blutooth. It has an answer button on it and volume up and down. there are two orientations of the device, mone gives a normal sound and the other gives a more expansive sound. it has 2 audio in 2.5mm sockets, and a charging socket.At the other end is the on/off/hold switch and an led power light, and a hanging loop for a small strap. The tone is treble and mid high, and you wont get much bass out of it.

Ok so the good is that this speaker sounds great, is easy to pair via bluetooth or NFC. The phone call function works well to and is fun to use. However, why oh why is the charger connection not micro-USB like my phone. Come on Sony it's a 5v charger like mirco-USB, but with a pin style connection. So I can't just take one charger for my Phone, Tablet and Speaker when I travel. This is just poor product design, should do better.

I have only recently received this speaker, yet I am already impressed with it. The sound is excellent and the volume can be controlled through the speaker and through the paired device. There is a long battery life and the splash-proof feature is innovative. I have used it whilst in the shower and the sound was just as great as normal. The only fault, for me personally, is that I wish I could skip songs on the speaker itself- and not just on the paired device. Considering the wireless ability of the speaker it is a shame, that this feature is absent on this product. All in all, this product is essentially a 360 degree speaker which produces excellent sounds with a great battery life.

This is a neat device, which truly is portable and take-anywhere. I already have another Sony Bluetooth speaker but it is mains-powered so not so convenient. It doesn't provide the room-filling sound that larger speakers do but that wasn't what I wanted. Many of the other products available, albeit cheaper, simply do not provide the quality. This is compact enough to put in your suitcase, if travelling longer distances, which I find very convenient. It links with music sources, like tablets and smartphones really easily.

This product is great on the eyes and on the ears. I love the Bluetooth system I end my day with my xperia music on 'shuffle' great bass, clarity etc. Yes I'm really pleased I stayed with Sony.

The sound from this little unit is quite amazing, irrespective of the quality of the source. It's small and light enough to carry on holidays. One can make it mega-versatile by just complementing it with an Avantree BTTC-200X so that you can reproduce just about ANY music from ANY source with a 35mm earphone jack. Fantastic!
