The UWP-D22 package includes the UTX-M40 handheld microphone and the URX-P40 receiver, along with essential accessories. The system utilizes advanced Sony digital audio processing technology, ensuring high-quality sound with improved transient response performance. This versatile and easy-to-use microphone system also offers an optional digital audio interface for direct digital sound recording with many Sony professional camcorders and Alpha interchangeable lens cameras, bypassing A/D and D/A conversion stages for optimal sound quality.
Seamless integration with compatible Sony camcorders is achieved via the SMAD-P5 Multi Interface MI shoe adaptor. This feature displays crucial audio information such as RF level meter, audio mute status, and transmitter low battery alert in the camera's viewfinder. The wireless receiver can also receive power from the camera, enabling synchronized power on/off between camera and receiver for efficient power management.
The UWP-D22 system also boasts Sony's unique NFC SYNC feature for quick, intuitive secure channel setting between transmitter and receiver.
