mandatory indoor lens

I used the Sony VCL-HG0872, x.08 wide conversion lens for the past 30 months with my Sony Z1U. When shooting in low light settings, my Z1 would handle up to 9db of video gain without any noticeable noise. I set my gain selections to 0, 6, and 9, with hypergain up top. I used my Sony wide lens quite a lot for reality shoots, recording in hotel rooms, concert settings, music videos, and even outdoor. Great for shooting master shots of any kind of space, and getting more real estate in a frame. This kind of wide lens can hopefully be original equipment in future Sony cameras, but for now, this is a high grade, conversion lens that is a staple with a Z1U or similar HDV camera system.
