Headband was great for skiing!

This headband was great for skiing! I used this headband and the action cam while skiing in Vermont last week. I don't understand the other reviewer's problem with the headband. I wore a helmet, put on my goggles and ran the strap under the strap/snap that secures it in the back of the helmet. Then I put on the action cam using this headband. The headband went around the helmet just like the goggles. I ran the headband under the same strap/snap on the back of the helmet just like the goggles. It all remained secure and I got great video. It did require some careful work when I wanted to lift my goggles from my eyes to the front top of the helmet but I was able to do so without too much trouble. I'd normally just attach the camera to the helmet but this was a rental helmet so the headband was necessary - it's a good buy!

Stable Headband Mount

This headband mount is very stable. Works well with most headbands besides the one supplied with the headband mount. I use this with my waterproof case for snorkeling. One thing to remember, this does not come with the waterproof case. The VCT-GM1 only comes with the headband and the holder that cradles the waterproof case.

Floatation for the Action Cam

This is a great camera and is easy to use with a MAC. The only problem I have is that you cannot go water skiing/tubing with is because you could lose the camera. If you buy the AKA-FL1 it will NOT fit in the cradle.
