Simple hookup, especially if using camera sound

Simple hookup, especially if using camera sound. Ultimately I found an inexpensive HDMI to S-video converter to provide a notch better video quality for my application - audio not required

Enables "live" video from HDR-AS100V Action Cam

The yellow RCA connector on this special Sony cable enables "live" composite video output (sometimes referred to as an "AV" or "A/V" output) to your analog-input video transmitter on a UAV, drone or similar device, while the camera is recording. This is contrary to recent assertions by Sony technical support in a long phone call. If you have a newer digital TV that accepts composite video, you may see a delay in acceptance of the signal input (connection to older analog devices is fast). I agree with the comment posted on the 9 Sept review, about the lack of Sony technical information. BTW, be careful not to confuse this product with a similar product sold for GoPro cameras (those have a different connector than the Sony cable).
