Shopper : HELLO, WOULD THIS CABLE AND THE VMC-IL4435 BE THE SAME CABLE ? THANK YOUMERRYE M : i don't think so. Both are Sony i.LINK cables (IEEE-1394 cable also known as "Firewire"), but the 4615 cable has a 4 pin connector at one end and a 6 pin connector at the other end. I believe the 4435 cable has the 4 pin connector at BOTH ends. The 4 pin connector is tiny -- about 3/16" wide. The 6 pin connector is about 7/16" wide. I use the IL4615 cable to transfer video from my old Sony Digital 8 Handycam to an HP desktop computer that has an IEEE-1394 port.
