Movie studio 9 worked fine. Version 10 is a disaster. Three different computers had sound card issues - totally diofferent win installs etc, in other words a good random sample. I'm back to using version 9. I have put together my own computers since the 286 days, built a successful e-commerece website (back before the turn of the century when it was more difficult), and have dealt with most problems without too much frustration. Even though I'm used to ferreting out problems on my own, I spent hours on the phone with Sony as well as interacting with them via e-mail. I followed the extensive and detailed instructions I was given to no avail. I'm getting more careful about what I post online and what it says about me (rather than the product), but Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10 is unuseable. The problem is something to do with how version 10 interacts with Microsoft Sound Mapper...
