The Sony Vaio SA2 VPCSA21GX/BI 13.3" Notebook Computer from Sony is a compact notebook computer with a LED backlit 13.3" display. LED technology provides more even light than traditional CCFL technology. It is also much greener than CCFL, as LED backlights are free of mercury and other environmental toxins and consume less power. The computer can operate for up to 6.5 hours per charge at default brightness settings. The VAIO features a 16:9 aspect ratio screen with a 1600 x 900 native resolution, greater than that of 720p video.

A DVD drive is included for disc playback and burning. The system is loaded with Sony's Media Gallery software, which makes it easy to organize all of your digital media. The computer supports Intel's Wireless Display technology, which allows you to connect to an HDTV wirelessly. You'll need the optional Netgear Push2TV accessory to utilize this technology. For wired connectivity to an HDTV, the notebook features an HDMI output. The system is powered by a dual-core 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M, which can be overclocked to 2.9GHz via Intel Turbo Boost.

It is loaded with 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 5400rpm storage drive, dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an integrated webcam and microphone, a fingerprint reader, a TPM security module and a memory card reader. Graphics are handled by the hybrid AMD Radeon HD 6630M with 1GB of memory - it can operate in discrete mode for superior performance, or in integrated mode for better battery life. Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
