Outstanding clarity and amazing IMAX-like 3D
The Sony VPL-VW600ES is our first foray into front projection. I cannot believe how bright this projector is. Using a 120 inch screen with a plus 3 gain. Best picture I have seen. Installers could not believe it either.
The Sony VPL-VW600ES 4K 3D Home Theater Projector features the same technology and resolution found in high-end, professional 4K movie theaters. The projector does support 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. It also supports standard full HD resolution content and 3D video. The VPL-VW600ES has a motorized focus, shift and zoom lens and has a built-in RF transmitter to work with 3D glasses. Other features include 1700 lumens of brightness, a 200,000:1 contrast ratio and a built-in auto calibration features. A built-in RGB sensor and software allow you to quickly adjust your picture to the way it looked when it was first installed.
While more and more 4K material is becoming available, Sony's advanced Reality Creation technology upscales your 2D and 3D movies for a truly cinematic 4K experience. Combining a native 4K light engine with all of the features and functions that have made Sony home theater projectors popular in the past, the Sony VW600ES is a worthwhile projector even for those who never intend to watch a single 4K movie.

Installing the projector is easy with its motorized lens, 85% (v) / 31% (h) motorized shift and wide throw distance range. Having a front air intake and exhaust allows the projector to be positioned near a wall without having to worry about cooling issues. Access to the lamp through a panel on top of the unit allows lamp changes without dismounting the projector.
