Side sliders bad engineered (it is a chronic problem, hundreds of posts of users having the product breaking in the same place during normal use). The piece on the side is structural, but was designed by the engineers as non-structural, since it is as thick as a toothpick and made out of plastic - easily breakable due to fatigue. Solution: reinforcing the side with super glue, spare parts from aliexpress, 3d printed models that are available online (with this problem fixed) or zip ties (as reinforcement to do the work the piece should do). BUT: it is a 300 euros headset, you expect better than that. Bluetooth connection subpar for a 300 euros worth devise - will switch to low band (hands free) if you want to use voice at the same time. During a call or an online game it will sound like a 10 euros headset due to the bluetooth limited connection. The bluetooth management of the device is also not the smartest when comparing to other devices in the same price range.

I purchased these headphones recently - second-hand, via eBay - but they still seem to be in very good condition, and the sound quality is also very good. They are comfortable to wear, and walk around in, and it's a credit to Sony that these headphones have managed to last so well after what must be about 4 years of use. I am very impressed.

I bought these for work a few years ago after reading some reviews and trying a pair of Bose to compare. I was blown away by the audio quality, with deep involving bass and clear vocals. They come nicely packaged, are very comfortable (if a bit sweaty after extended wearing!) have good battery life and come with all cables needed and zippable travel pouch. I love these headphones, be it for music, calls, podcasts, and whether at home or on the move. Sound cancelling is excellent, a recent trip on the flight to Barbados for 9 hours proved this and blocked everything out! I'd happily buy again and have no idea how they could have improved them in newer models. Finally worth mentioning the app, I have an iPhone and is simple to use, pair and control or fine tune experience. I also used with our TV directly on Bluetooth and also even my Xbox via controller using supplier 3.5mm cable.

I bought these about a year ago for mainly blocking out noisy neighbours after trying out some cheap one that didn't help at all. You definitely do get what you pay for when it comes to these Sony XM3's they even provided a good amount of noise cancelling without being turned on, but when you connect them to your TV, stereo or even a mobile device the sound quality is so good it makes me feel like I'm in my own little world, these have been a life saver for me. But if there was one con it would be that you can only connect one device at a time, it would be good if I can use them to watch TV, pause it and play some music from my phone for example, I've been looking at the XM4's as I think you can with them but they are missing some of the XM3 features that I've learnt to enjoy and would miss, otherwise I would buy them as well.. god knows they wouldn't include them (MADNESS) as I think they would sell more XM4's. The battery life is excellent, and doesn't take long to charge, they have been faultless so far connecting to all my Bluetooth devices is a breeze, they are slightly uncomfortable when wearing glasses but these couple of cons are not enough to put me off if anything I would be more inclined to buy other Sony products. Very happy so thankyou Mr Sony. P.s. this is one thing I just expected the headphones would work with but I can't work out how to do it so if anyone can help me please comment, they don't seem to connect to a sony PS4, might get a ps5 in the coming months, will they work with that??????????

Works well. However is it worth the price? I think not really! Also, the product got faulty with not so much of usage (was sparingly used). Costs a lot (more than half the price of the new product to get it repaired). So is it reliable and worth the price. I think No!
