I have had issues with it rebooting and losing the data I have entered. Sometimes, even when I entered the account data a few minutes ago, I have to repeat the process. I am not happy. It worked well until the warranty expired

It was great for the first two years.

It could have more features than it does but for the price you can't go wrong.

a lot of bang for the buck

Sony still makes a great picture. 4k is visually sharp with great colors however sound is just awful. To make matters worse it just doesn't connect to 2 of the three sound bars I purchased. Bose, and Sonos. Finally Samsung bar bar connected easily with HDMI. SONY updates were of no help and the same for tech support.

Good picture but sound is so lacking

both died at the same year in 2023, no power, no light and can't turn on now.

I bought 2 of this TV Dead on 7 years

Had it for a month, and it's overall use is for everything, including sports, movies, live TV, DVD's, and pretty much the everyday channel flipper. I am overall please with the image quality and clarity and the ease of the menu and controls. We currently sit about 10 feet away from it, I would recommend not ever closer, then you can start seeing deficiencies in image quality. Also, the TV stands are very big, not a fan.

Great TV, colors and sound are fantastic

We updated out old Sony TV with larger picture and the first to receive new 4K. We were Uncertain about the 4K because there were limited 4K programs and videos at the time of our purchase. When we viewed 4K on our tv we were pleasantly surprise by the amazing sharp detailed and color content. Sport games appeared with clear detailed actions. and more exciting to watch.

Great Picture

I received this tv as an award from my company. I was happy with the picture and performance until the TV developed an issue. Over half of the TV, approximately 1/3 from the top to the bottom of the TV is blurred and duplicated, in a white hazy appearance. It is unfortunate that the TV only lasted 26 months when it had a 24 month warranty.

Screen problem after 26 months

I bought this a year ago in a bundle with a ps4 pro. I was looking for a smart tv with android functionality. I love the fact that it is not limited to a handful of available apps. It has been the google store and ability to sideload apps. I have even been able to play some android games using a bluetooth controller and only the tv. The picture quality is amazing. Watching Netflix or playing the ps4 in 4k is my favorite activity now.

Great picture

I bought this set in December of 2016 and have been using it ever since. It displays well with my PS4 Pro and all the apps available to download are usually well designed for use.

Good features

I purchased this TV not knowing what an Android TV meant, other than it is the operating system. As of now, I don't know why more TVs are not Android. I have been able to do many things with this TV that friends of mine only dream about. I take pictures and videos on my android phone and cast them to the TV with just a couple clicks on the phone. The apps are great and they are all available in the Google app store. This has been a super TV.

If you are looking for a new tv in a well lit room to watch tv from a variety of sources,then you can stop right here. One note, maneuvering to settings involves a lot of steps so you won’t to make many changes once you set it up.

After watching Netflix for awhile, I switched back to cable and the sound did not work. I found that this was a common problem with this tv online. You have to unplug it and then plug it back in for the tv to reset and the sound starts working again.

Sound kept going out

The remote needs help for being a 4k tv. No voice on the so called smart remote. On Kodi and other apps, very hard to find full screen pictures. The speakers could use some help, I ended up running everything through my surround sound. Other then that the picture quality is amazing for everything. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought this TV for the living room. I bought it because I was told it had a RoKu built. The Sony is able to stream various channels through different apps built in. However, I wanted to connect to Spectrum which I could do on another Sony set via a Roku box. i could not do so withy tyhe built in features.
