AVOID this product. Less than 4 years old and it has completely failed with only mild use. Can't imagine with a product of this low quality that you'd find anything worth purchasing from Sony

Some of these TVs have a problem connecting to Netflix. The problem is discussed on-line and in the SONY user forum. Some fixes work for some people and some do not. I tried them all and never got my first TV to just link to Netflix reliably. After 2 months of trying, I returned the TV for a replacement and it has worked perfectly ever since. In all other respects both TVs surpassed my expectations. They are easy to assemble and connect to other devices. The add-on SONY sound system is great. The set-up screens are clear and easy to navigate and use. There are good videos on line to help novice users. But the really terrific aspect of this TV is the picture. Wow! We just love it. I can't explain how the engineers can create such a great TV, yet make it struggle with the most popular media provider out there. My experience was not common, but not unusual either. The consumer experience at Best Buy was 100% positive, so the story has a happy ending. I would do it all again just because we enjoy watching it so much.

I bought this product a couple of years ago, upon unboxing and setting it up. It worked well for the first month and then did this power cycle boot upon installing the firmware. The t.v was replaced by the same model, after that, it worked beautifully for a couple of years until now where the firmware update once again destroyed the product. As far as the t.v goes it is a wonderful product packaged with many features. The Android operating systems lets you take it to a whole other level. The T.V hower is susceptible to many things going wrong with it. I would avoid this product until they work out the kinks.

Bought it 22 months ago, spent $1500 when it first came out and now has a fatal error. Sony doesnt stand behind their products at all.

I own 5 tvs one other Vizio 4K, 2 Bravias and another Visio led and the X900C is by far the best. I have owned it for over a year now and cancelled cable a few months ago due to the great apps that are included. I can't believe how thin it is. Love the trackpad/voice remote, perfect picture but what else do you expect from Sony. My advice Buy it and if you can afford it buy 2....

When you buy a Sony product - - and yes, you pay a little extra for the name - - you are also paying extra for great quality. The sharpness, the colors, the conveniences all all up to a TV experience that is worth the price.

Incredible picture, intuitive user interface, easy set up. Nice looking overall. High quality stand, which is also very sturdy. One criticism is that you've got to be quick when changing input source as menu stays active only about 5 seconds.

Very easy to set up. I mounted on wall with no problem. Great picture for movies and gaming. Variety of Apps. Refresh rate fantastic for sports. Only complaint is the remote. It's 2017 - can I get a remote that works with DirecTV? Seriously - that is not acceptable. Aside from the remote issue, this is a great TV

I needed a new TV to fit a larger space. I owned a 10yr old 40" TV from Sony that was still going strong. I did some research and was torn between a low end OLED or a 120 hz model with LED, back and edge lighting ( LED was older tech but bugs and issues were worked out). At a certain point all of the pictures looked the same in the store and I went with what I knew was good quality . I haven't used all of the features yet as I just set it up yesterday but so far so good. As of now; easy to set up myself and happy.

It's been 2 weeks since I purchased this tv & I love the way it is performing. The colors are "rich" and so far no bleeding at the bottom like some other customers have stated.

This had the potential to be a great tv. Unfortunately you will need to adjust quite a few settings to limit the light bleed issues it has. Even when you get everything right, there will still be a small amount but its negligible. The quality of picture and features make up for it.

I wanted the 65" Sony XBR-65X900C TV to mount on my brick fireplace wall. I must admit after reading a few reviews, I hesitated to order this TV but I wanted the ultra thin floating style and after professional electricians installed this TV over the fire place and turned it on, we were overwhelmed how fabulous it looked and the color is true to life. The electrician did not calibrate a thing. It was perfect from the start. I am glad I went with my own instinct and wanted to let people know, this is a fabulous TV.

I would recommend this TV w/ caveats. The picture is great but there is definitely light bleed as a number of the reviews have stated. The review by Ivo1 is spot on. * the picture is fantastic! * light bleed on edges and the right corner is annoying * mounting the TV on the wall w/ wired Ethernet connectivity forces the TV to be pushed out on one side and therefore lopsided

I am a Loyal Sony Customer. Currently I own XBR LX 900 and XBR HX 929 and XBR X950B. I recently purchased X900C 55 inch Very Thin TV. Picture Quality is great if I overlook the bright light bleeding at the edge and if I overlook the 2'x2' hazy spot very apparent with scenes with white background, in the Left upper Quadrant of the screen.Image is attached below. I truly believe that in order to go Very Thin with screen width the picture defects have become more apparent. For the First time Ever I am returning a Sony product. My other 3 Sony TV's are Amazing and hope that Sony Will Consider making a 55 inch TV which is NOT Very Thin and with Full Array Local Dimming. Better Quality Control May have helped resolve these issues also.
