Purchased the TV in Mar-17. Was a "perfect" TV (very good Pic) when shopping at Best Buy. That is, until about a week ago. Screen black with 3 red led "blinks". Did every software suggested by Sony. After factory reset, TV now has 5 red led blinks. Would like very much to "rescue" the TV.

Bought this Sony 65"in. TV.,so far has been good tv good pic.quality.The only down fall is the Sound Quality is very bad sounds like your listening to a 19" tv.other than that good tv to buy.I will recommend.

the work this tv has but in is nothing short of amazing over 2 years old and has not been shut off for more than 10 hr's until last week it has gotten a break.

Have had this product for 3 years. Wifi is fantastic. Have 4k blue ray player and picture is outstanding. 1 suggestion add a way to record or just pause live tv.

I bought this a month ago. It was three years old and you would think it was new. Sony has always had the best picture and compatible with all my stereo components

Fantastic picture

Liked many of the features but lately(2019) the TV will lock up about the same time every day to a point where the audio/video freezes and the controller no longer works. I have to physically unplug the TV to fix the problem. Been happening once a day for a while now. The software auto-update is on and at the latest revision.

Lock up while streaming.

We've had this television for over a year now and it still has been an outstanding purchase. We view lots of Netflix and Prime movies and the remote is easy and intuitive to use. Apps work as they should and sound and picture are superb. You can certainly purchased cheaper televisions (TLC makes very good, inexpensive smart tv's) but the picture quality and sound of the Sony is vastly superior which warants the price. Profootball and golf are stunning on our Sony.

Outstanding smart television

Do not allow updates. Can't remove them when you do . Everything is so slow when using the remote now. Also takes over apps. Your home screen will never be the same.

Starts out good

I have this tv for almost 2 years now. Still works and look good like a champ!

Fantastic picture once you do the calibration.

This tv is only 2 years old. We had some random flicker issues after 1year, we blamed them on cable interruptions. Just recently the flicker was permanent, bottom half of screen with horizontal lines.
This is a panel issue that is known to Sony. I have tried to voice my dissatisfaction to them, as it was an expensive tv that only lasted 2 years and I cannot get through to anyone.

We bought this T.V almost 2 years ago. It's a 65 and it has been a wonderful T.V. There are many app's to choose from and gorgeous picture. Sony is the best! Our other T.V is a Sony and we will only purchase Sony! Thank you!

Awesome!

There might be an issue with software or either my cable provider. The tv will turn on in the middle of night. I am still working on a resolution.

Turns on by itself

I bought this 1 1/2 years ago. The TV freezes 3 to 4 times a day. I've reset to factory defaults. I've installed all updates. I'm fairly technical so I know some of the app have issues (Example Foxnews, A&E....). Nevertheless, I' referring to the basic control of the TV itself. When switch from one app to another the TV freezes, switching from one input to another the TV freezes, TV does not turn on sometimes. I have to unplug from the wall and leave off for a few minutes. This tells me its a cache issue in the memory. 

The picture is AWESOME - I gave Sony 2 stars just for that and 1 extra star for the features. Although they didn't work properly, the ideal is AWESOME. I've always supported Sony but they need to stop being lazy on the TV products.

Sony 65" Android TV constantly freezes

A very nice TV. Great picture. Easy to set-up with lots of tutorials and guided set-up. Nice and thin.Good sound (although I plan to add external speakers). 

Room for improvement: 
-app to register TV does not work (weird as it is a Sony app), 
-SEARCH shows control with microphone which my control does not have,
- the wheel control is a bit tricky with the inner and outer wheels. I find myself pushing the wrong area. 
-The difference between HOME, ACTION MENU is confusing. The Apps are confusing having various places to access them in menus. 

Fix these and you get 5 stars.

Great value. A couple of issues

Purchased at a real audio video store with real, knowledgeable employees. I am a loyal Sony fan from way back. TV was paired with a Sony sound bar for upgraded sound, and it all works great. The 4K picture is awesome!

Perfect picture

I purchase this TV a year ago and it ask you to do updates. The last update has my TV making this high pitch noise if you pause or start with the cable remote. It is very annoying and irritable. I will never buy another Sony TV. Before I purchased it I was going to buy a Samsung

Sony X750d

I needed a new TV so I began looking and comparing models. After several trips to local stores I narrowed my choices to SONY and LG. Samsung was out of the picture (pardon the pun) after significant problems occurred with a TV I spent a small fortune on. The picture on the SONY just seemed more life like and truer color than the LG, but they both looked good in the store. A salesman told me of the great deal I could get on this TV so I decided to purchase. I've had it now for a little over a month and the TV meets my expectations. 4K from a source like You Tube makes you feel as though you're looking out a window. 4K upscaling on movies is subtle but you can see a difference. The blacks on programs on occasion seem washed out and I'm still playing around with settings so hopefully I'll find a combination that looks good and consistent over different sources. All in all it's a nice TV with good features and just a few quirks which keep it from being a very good TV.

I love the tv and had a great price on it but the literature says the remote should have a microphone and it does not. Very disappointing. I think the software was updated but the remote was not.

Because we sit 11.5 foot from the tv, the 50 inch 4K HD tv just wasn’t working. We got the Sony 4K HD 65 inch tv and what a wonderful viewing experience!

So far, the TV has been good, although I dont feel that I've had the opportunity to maximize the 4K HDR experience. Probably my biggest complaint so far is the remote controler.
