Excellent Sony (one of many)

Have been very happy with this unit, have owned several Sony TV's in the past, when I was younger, Sony was the Cadillac of TV and if you owned one you owned the best. All my entertainment components are Sony, to include (at the time $450.00) Laser Disc Player/5 disc CD player, Sony Amp, several VCR's, Bluray DVD Player, DVD Player, and lastly a 5 disc CD Player.

Too heavy, poor hardware and assembly instructions

The model I purchased is not available on the pull-down list when register. XBR65X810CH. Provide a larger Booklet with larger size fonts for easy reading.

The quality of the picture is outstanding!

I purchased this 65" smart television a few months ago. I am impressed with the quality of the picture and the many features. Access to the many streaming apps is so easy.

Happy then sad

My last Sony Bravia from 2003 is still running. Unfortunately the upgrade XBR65X810C stopped working after 3 years. It appears from what I’ve read, there’s an issue with the mother broad and it will cost me $500 to repair. When I bought this tv it cost me $1,900.00. Therefor, I thought I was buying another quality product from Sony. Don’t get me wrong, prior to it malfunctioning, the tv worked great, picture and color was awesome.

Great picture

So happy to have this nice TV. Tried several 4k tv in the market, but this one is best in class. Not comparing to OLED, because you pay 3x for that. Sony tech support is excellent.

So disappointed in Sony

I purchased the XBR65X810C and so pleased with it's quality for the two months that it worked. The TV stopped working on 7/17/19. Sony support had two seniors on the phone then working behind the TV, up/down step ladders, etc for 2 hours and to no avail. They then said they would have to order parts and would let us know in 5 to 7 days when they arrive. Really, this is service on a $3000 TV? It's despicable and clearly a degradation of the quality and service expectations we hear advertized.

Do not buy

Do not buy. Had to change in the very first month due boot loop. Them got into same problem in 2 years. The technical support keeps saying they will get a part to fix it, still waiting to happen.

Excellent TV

I did a ton of research before I purchased my 65 inch Sony 4K TV. I figured that negative reviews for it being slow were primarily due to internet speeds. I found nothing slow about this TV and the picture is second to none.

Can't be fix. Sony don't make replacement panel.

I purchased this product about 3 years ago. The screen just went black and the service guy told me that it was the front panel when he pulled the codes. The led lights were flashing red with 3 seconds intervals. No extended warranty.

Update stuck

After the latest update, my TV displays the update required message every time I turn on the tv.. the update never completes.. it is being in this state for last 1 month :(

nice tv have had it about a year

little problems with apps they seem to double up alot. make sure you use a big enough extension cord are it will turn on and off alot. great picture like it alot

No HDR!

It's decent when it doesn't crash, and the LED flashes red 3 times every 3 seconds. My unit is prone to green vertical lines followed by the total shutdown of the television (and aforementioned flashing red LED).

It's a great TV!!

I have had this TV for almost a year and it's everything I wanted. Great apps come with it and I am able to do anything I want on this TV. It's great for watching sports and just a great TV. Sony is the best.
