I bought this to protect my 2014 MBP 13 Retina. I bought it because it claims to be better than the older previous models of cases which all cracked on the corners without even having been bumped. It feels sturdier, but time will tell. I hate the color but it's all you had.

This is my 2nd Speck case; the 1st developed cracks at the monitor corners and fell apart...after almost 3 years of daily use, so I don't mind. The halves if the case snapped right on and fit perfectly. The matte finish feels great in my hand. The only thing that keeps this case from 5 stars is that the finish shows fingerprints pretty badly. But to be fair, this isn't a beauty contest. I'm a happy customer!

I purchased this case and within less than a month the two (very small and flimsy) pieces that were holding the laptop in from the back side both snapped off. I didn't drop the laptop, or even handle it roughly in any way. I then emailed customer service and was told that I would receive a replacement. However, I never received the replacement. I was just told that they were sorry and would send it now. Customer service has been quite unprofessional and has sent many of their emails all in lower case broken sentences, sounding overall as if they don't care about the situation. If I do receive the replacement I will update this review.

The color of this product is beautiful however, with just a couple months use it has started to crack. Still great protection for my computer nonetheless.

It's very durable, lightweight, and I love the pink color. I bought it seven months ago and it's still working great, so I'll definitely get a Speck product again for my laptop in the future.

I had an issue with this case breaking on the corners (most likely from wear). Speck was so awesome with their warranty and getting this replaced for me. I definitely recommend this product and would buy it again!

This case is totally amazing! the Rose Pink is a great colour, subtle yet fresh and exciting. The case itself is hard wearing and fits the laptop like a glove. the finish of the case is not a gloss, it is a matt effect on which scratches hardly show at all (because I don't always treat it great...). I love it and although I always buy Speck, this is by far the best thing I have purchased! On top of the wonderful product when i have had one minor complaint in the past the customer service from Speck far exceeded expectations.

I only just got this product a few days ago, but I can already tell I'm going to like it. It seems to be a little "tougher" than the other, previous cases that I've gotten for MBP's. I think they still sell the other ones as well, and I think that there are still a lot of complaints out there about the tabs on the sides of the old ones breaking off. These tabs are virtually nonexistent. Like I said in my title, this case really does fit like a glove. The Incase product that I accidentally bought with the computer was like trying to sweet an actual orange through the top of an orange juice container. It was literally busting at the seems. Now I understand why there are bad reviews for it (didn't see those until after I bought it of course.) But THIS case is - magnificent. It's a little differently colored than in the picture but not by a lot. It's more of a "berry purple" rather than the dark purple that is pictured. Or maybe that's just how it looks to me, lets not start another color war like the dress did a while back. I've used Speck products before without complaint, and have even gotten FREE replacements when they did occasionally fail. So I am yet again a happy customer. As always.
