Love the clear case. Just have to be careful the phone doesn't slide. The back of the case has no grip to prevent sliding.

Although this cover provides solid protection for your iPad, I do not recommend it. The edges of the plastic screen cover are so sharp that they can cut your fingers. There is no way to soften them except to take a file or sandpaper to them, which will mar the look of the case. Overall, the plastic case looks and feels pretty cheap anyway. The purple color is pretty, but the sharp edges ruin this for me.

This case has cute little buttons built in that should operate your device controls. However, on the case I received they do not work for my volume controls. I hope I can return the useless thing.

I had a previous Speck case for several years, which I loved. The snap closure, easel folds, and protection were great, but I finally tore the leather cover and decided to replace it. My one criticism was that the cover became a little warped towards the end - it still closed fine, but didn't lie completely flat. That cover was a 5-stars product. I have two beefs with the new cover. When I use it in easel mode on my lap, the folded cover too easily slides out and collapses flat. A friction surface is needed on the case back to prevent this. Second, while the prior design had the folding cover lying flush with the plastic, this one has a thin plastic rib surrounding the closed cover. When the cover is open, the rib ends are uncomfortably pointy, a problem avoided by the older design

The corner of the case cracked. It was not dropped or mishandled. I send a email to the company but never heard back. It is the weakest and thinnest part of the case.

I use my iPad Pro for reading music. A symphony rehearsal gets kind of crazy with people setting up, taking down and generally moving around through chairs and music stands. The Speck Folio gives me confidence that even if the iPad gets knocked off the stand it will be protected.

Ordered this iPad case after calling to see if it would fit my current generation iPad Pro 12.9" (2018). I was told that it would. It does not fit. It is way too big! Speck does not currently sell a case for the newest iPad Pro 12.9". Big time failure considering the iPad was released last year.

High quality product inside and out with cute color! Very hard to find a good case for the iPad pro 2017 version. The latch and notches work perfectly. My only issue is that it's slightly difficult to make the stand stay up in the typing position, but there is a trick to make it pretty sturdy.

I really like the clip keeps the cover from flopping around. I also love how the exterior texture of the case doesn't cause friction when I try to slide it into my purse (which is a Tight Fit). I am a little nervous having all the buttons exposed (my last case had them covered), but only time will tell! Very hopeful and the product was the color and style expected.

Excellent product. I've only had it for a month and it's feeling sturdy. I'm using it for illustration and graphic design. The lowest position isn't very reliable as it slumps at too far of an angle for me to rest my hand on without falling flat. (Perhaps I misread the instructions). Otherwise the other positions are fine, especially for watching videos and reading.

Improved durability from 10/01/2017 case purchase. The 2018 is better in fit and finish. Replaced 2017 case because a corner broke off when dropped on hard floor and the cover warped and showed wear and tear. The case is extremely important because it prevented catastrophic damage to the IPad which is the main function of the Speck case: Protection. IPad replacement costs $1000, a Speck case save can save you a lot of money.

I really like my new Speck Balance FOLIO Case for my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. Before it arrived at my house, I was almost afraid to use my new iPad much, being very careful where I set it down, and how I handled it. After the case came, I immediately felt more confident about using my device and not worrying so much about it. The case orovides perfect security for the iPad Pro, covering it completely and even adding strength to the wonderful package I am handling. I like the many positions I can set the devce in, and I love the Marine Blue/Twilight Blue color. The case has all the features I wanted. Not too heavy, the stand works well, it closes with a clasp and turns the ipad on and off when I open and close it. It is of a quality that I feel will last for many years and withstand daily use. I love the color and the feel of the case. The price was right and shipping was lightning fast.
