Inexpensive but novel mic booster

I tested this unit on two mics and was surprised at the result. The dynamic mic sounded natural and for the ribbon it really did give me the extra gain needed. For the price I ended up buying two because few alternatives will be this affordable. I believe the amount of gain listed in the specifications is accurate.
