The TAP100MP gives you more headroom and it works beautifully with both dynamic and passive ribbon-style microphones. By boosting your microphone's audio levels by 25dB higher without unwanted noise, this preamp boosts your sound to the desirable sweet spot without coloring the sound. The TAP100MP also operates on 48V phantom power, but it does not pass phantom power to the microphone itself. Its aluminum housing is durable and lightweight.
