Airprint still not supported

I can't believe you haven't sorted out AirPrint yet. I need to print labels with barcodes generated on my website directly from my phone or ipad.

Disappointed it doesn’t print 4”x6” shipping label

Very disappointed that they don’t have one that wirelessly prints all sized labels like the DYMO 4XL. I have 3 DYMO printers and I’m disappointed that I can’t print a shipping label wirelessly.

Looking for wireless printer? Don’t buy this!

I bought this couple months ago for be a wireless printer we can use for multiple computers, but ever week we have to setup again the Wi-Fi connection for the printer Get tired of that now I bought on printer for each computer. I get angry with the brand and move to other brands... best choose I made... pure BS this wireless printer they sell!! So buy only if you pretend to use the cable otherwise will lose your time!

My First Dymo Label Printer

I bought the Wireless label writer in black 6 or 7 weeks ago and I have had to configure it 5 diff times now in Windows 10. Each time is the same problem...it works for a few days and then stops working returning “error status” or something like that. I have used both dynamic and static IP modes to no avail. This most recent configuration i skipped wireless given that it’s completely useless and doesn’t work and just connected to my computer with the usb cable. Hey Dymo I recommend you recall this iteration and start over only the second go around add AirPrint support for iOS. Also who do I contact to return this for one of the tried and proven non wireless models? Seeming that I’m going to be stuck with a wired config I might as well get one that doesn’t make my face white hot with indignation.

Hard to set up in Network

I’m tech Davy but I could not get it set up on my network. It took an hour with customer support (I think in India) to get it set up. It norms ok now but the application isn’t as friendly as my prior hard wired excellent Dymo label printer.

Unable to use because I cannot install

I purchased this model in May 2019 believing I would have better luck than others who complained about the connectivity. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how this model operates because I have yet to get it installed and operational. I consider myself computer saavy, but I have had problems at every step. First, every time the label writer is disconnected from power, I have been required to reconnect it to my wireless network. Using the WPS method, this has connected easily only once when the label writer was right next to my wireless router. Despite a solid signal in my home, the WPS method would not work when I try to join the network with the label writer at my desk where I need to use it. Attempting to connect the label writer to my wireless network manually has also been difficult, requiring more than one attempt before successfully connected. Once finally connected to the wireless network, I attempted to install the desktop software on my computer. I'm using Windows 8.1 (64bit). The latest version offered by DYMO would not install. After about seven attempts, I downloaded an older version of DYMO's desktop software and received the same error message. Tech support sent me an even older version of the software which did install. When I tried to activate this older version, however, it said that it was scanning for a label writer but could not see one on my network. After three unsuccessful attempts, I connected the wireless label maker to my computer via the included USB cable, however, the software still is not seeing the label writer on my network. So I will be back on the phone with tech support next week. It's possible that I happened to purchase a defective label writer. It's also possible that DYMO hasn't invested adequate resources to ensure that their wireless label writer is as easy to install and use as most of today's wireless computer peripherals. Regardless, I'm disappointed and am ready to ask for my money back. Sadly, this is the only poor review I've written for any product I've purchased online.

two units; neither worked

This is the second time I purchased this unit. Both had problems. now I have to wait another 3 weeks before I get a replacement. Sorry, I made this purchase, as my faith in Dymo is gone.

Good printer, but tough to set up wireless

Overall we are very pleased with all Dymo products we use for our business. The labelwriter wireless printer we purchased most recently prints great, but still have not been able to set up the wireless connectivity. We gave up trying to set up the wireless connection and have it connected like our other standard labelwriters so in hindsight we would probably stick with the standard printers for our next purchase.

Unable to get the "wireless" feature to work.

I replace a Dymo labelmazer that had died. It would print one label then produce a blank, toward the end it would print on and eject two blanks. I spent hours trying to get this to work wireless but finally gave up.

Not intended for enterprise use

I purchased 2 DYMO LabelWriter Wireless units for a business that frequently prints labels. I was excited to finally find a DYMO that would directly connect to the network instead of requiring a separate USB network print server. Unfortunately the installer is incompatible with Windows Server OS and standalone drivers are not available. Consequently, the DYMO wireless printers cannot be deployed in a domain environment and therefore must be installed on individual machines. Although the print times seem equivalent to the DYMO 450 Turbo, the web interface to control the LabelWriter Wireless seems very laggy and is probably underpowered. Those that aren't tech savvy will have trouble setting up a DYMO Wireless printer because the setup instructions are wrong. The instructions fail to say that you must install the DYMO Wireless printer like a network printer after installing the DYMO software that includes the necessary drivers.

Flawless Wireless Printer

I bought this label printer to replace an older Twin Turbo model that gave up the ghost after many years of faithful service. I found it very easy to connect this printer to my home network and it has been working just fine since installation.

hmmm?

HI! I am trying to learn how to make labels on our new wireless printer from our chromebooks. I have had the turbo labelwriter 400 for 11 years, and I LOVE! As we progress to chromebooks, I need a wireless option. I ordered the wireless and have it connected, but it does not have the features that the 400 has, I AM FRUSTRATED with this application. I cannot see the whole screen on my phone with the dymo connect app, and can't type at all on the chromebook. I don't see where I can store the addresses (2500 of them that I need to store (address book on the 400 model/windows) .. do you have any help, or is this not the model/software that I need. ...... IS THERE A DYMO LABEL V8.3 FOR THE CHROME OS COMING SOON??? thanks! melissa

I got that at Staples store at my local store and why not try wireless to send from my mobile phone iPhone and tested surprised that it really works but still requires using WiFi to communicate through. Cool feature and happy with it.

Dymo Wireless Labelmaker DOES Work!

I've only had this label maker about a week now, but I've read lots of bad reviews regarding connectivity on this printer. It's not the printer's fault. I think Dymo's installation instructions that are incomplete. Many people will install this printer, expecting to print from their wired computers, to this wireless printer. It won't work, and this is by design - for safety and security reasons. Your router has 3 "zones". The wired "LAN" (Local Area Network) zone, the Wireless LAN or "WLAN", and the "WAN" or Wide Area Network (the internet, for our purposes). Computers and devices in the wired and wireless zones are not aware of each other and cannot communicate with each other without special settings in the router to "bridge the gap" so to speak. After you've connected label printer and made it a part of your wireless network, write down the IP address of the printer. Now Google "how to connect a wireless printer to my (insert Your BRAND and MODEL#) router" to build that bridge. Essentially, the "bridge" will connect the group of IP addresses for computers in the wired LAN, to the specific IP address of the Dymo Wireless printer in the Wireless LAN (WLAN), and direct this traffic to a specific port (usually port 9100). When you add the printer, do it manually. Create a new TCP/IP "port" by entering the IP address of Dymo printer, then install the print drivers after that. You should be done.

Dymo Stamps is not compatible with Mac

Basically the main reason I bought this printer was for postage. To my surprise after I wasted my time looking and looking if I did something wrong I didn't. And then the customer support is only Monday-Friday. Frustrating... and there is no where in the descriptions stating this issue. Research the product before u buy it to make sure it does what u need it to do. Can't comment about the performance, I returned it!

worried about it

I had a dymo label printer over 10 years ago and loved it. I was excited to get one again and thought the wireless feature would be great. It worked well the first day or so, and now I can't print labels from access. It seems the wireless version has some software glitches or something.

So Disappointed!

On January 1, 2018 I purchased a wireless Dymo to replace my Dymo Turbo 350, which I subsequently gave to a friend. I expected the wireless version to work like a reliable air printer. However, there are apparently major problems with the firmware and the wireless feature only works when the lengthy configuration process is done each and every time it is turned on. I learned, after several calls to Dymo support, admittedly, they don't have a workaround and of course support hours are very limited. As a long time user of Dymo, I have come to trust it as a hard working reliable tool. But I have to admit I am so disappointed that the wireless model does not work as advertised!
