So far fairly disappointing experience. I mean image is fine, sharp and bright. However the fan is fairly loud even at the lowest light setting, never mind at "normal", when the fan is rather noticeable and distracting. The menu looks about the same as on my 15 year old projector, which seems quite retro in 2025. The remote is bluetooth, so doesn't work with my existing Logitech universal remote. Projector always turns on "home" port (originally dedicated to provided Android stick), it doesn't remember if you used HDMI2 input (like one would with a common setup with a receiver handling multiple sources).

First one had two green pixels that were always on the screen. The second one I received had uneven focus and could only have half the screen in focus. I purchased certified renew. Praying for a refund at this point.

I've had this projector for a little under a year and it has been an amazing experience. The streaming option is meh, but the projector itself has been crisp, clear, and easy to adjust. I question the two reviews that say theirs only worked for a couple of months; possibly due to false reviews or more likely the bulb didn't "just go out." Mine sits in a dedicated home theater. While not the top projector, it's great for its price point. I encourage folks to do their own research and seek feedback from home theater or other such groups when deciding on what will work best for your family.

Very good picture quality. Easily replaced my HC1060 hanging from the ceiling. However, why can't I adjust picture size? I have a 110" screen with a viewing area of 105" X 59". With my HC1060 I could fill the screen and much more. With this HC2350, the largest I can get my viewing area is 89" X 50" zoomed out full. It doesn't make sense to have adjustments that can't be made if using and HDMI cable. How else would you use a projector? I am happy with my purchase, just a little bit disappointed that I can't adjust my viewing area to meet my preferences without poking more holds in my ceiling and moving the projector farther away from the screen.

I bought projector in Nov. 2023, installed and started to use in March 2024, it has less them 60 hours. Projector stopped working, i called customer service they say bulb is dead. They won't cover warranty as its more then 90 day. I had few projectors before they ran more then 3 years with out any issues. I never seen a new projector bulb go bad after 60 hours of use.
Bad 2.

I bought this projector in Late January but didn't get it all installed until around the first of March due to some extra work needed on the ceiling mount and the home theater receiver and wiring. I watched several movies during the next month - maybe 10 hours or so - and then the bulb failed in the projector. I was told that it was past the 90-day warrantee period for the bulb so I need to buy a new bulb. My last projector was a ViewSonic Pro 8200 that lasted 13 years! I think the bulb money might be better spent on repairing the ViewSonic projector. . .

I received this as a gift from my wife, after her listening to me complain how crappy my old epson projector was looking. OMG, the difference is amazing, now please understand I'm not some expert so don't expect a lot of technical jargon. The picture is superb, the most notable are sports and movies. I see a lot more detail. The 4K enhancement is very nice and adds a noticeable difference from 1080p. My 2350 is ceiling mounted 10' from my screen, which has a 1.3gain and 100" picture. It is a dedicated theater room. The lumens are bright enough that I can have all my basement lights on and still be able to watch but naturally better with lights dimmed or off. As for calibration, all I did was search YouTube for projector calibration. I calibrated contrast and brightness through a video off of YouTube. I removed the android dongle and used my Roku streaming stick 4K, used the 2nd HDMI eArc port and ran HDMI cable to my Samsung hw-q850t sound bar w/sub and satellite speakers complete my set-up! I love this projector, but I still love my wife more!

I recievied this HC 2350 form my wife as a present. I will tell you I've read all the reviews good and bad, well mine is gonna be a good one. I upgraded my old epson projector which had a pretty good picture, I thought. Wow, the difference between the two is just amazing. The clairty and brightness are superb. Watching movies on this projector is almost as good as being at the theater. The sound is not the greatest but if you're moving the projector around it will do a decent job. For a dedicated theater room your gonna want to take advantage of the eArc and use a nice sound bar or sound system. I can watch and have clarity in a well lit room but with the lights off and little to no ambient light the picture just pops and is so crisp, I love watching sports and movies on it.

Overall it's a great projector with good brightness levels, good colors, and quiet fans that will work at a very large screen sizes. Installation into most setups will be a breeze with lens shifting and a wide range of zoom ratios. The bundled smart tv stick allows for a quick startup but is buggy enough that you can't rely on it to work and is best ditched for an external streaming stick like a chromecast/fire stick/roku etc. unless they commit to fixing the bugs. PROs: Good brightness - Easy to see in a lit room with normal lighting. Sun lit room may pose a problem. Low brightness is adequate for pretty much every viewing situation. Image clarity/sharpness - Even without a screen the image looks great on a gray wall and is sharp Colors - Bright and vivid with low to moderate ambient lighting. Some washout in brightly lit scenarios. HDR and colorspace options add some pop to colorful scenes. Install / adjustment - Lens zoom and Lens Shift capability make installation and customization a breeze. If you're using a platform mount the legs offer decent leveling capabilities. Manual focus is a bit soft and wish it had a more fine control but seems easy enough to get right. Sound levels at low and standard light output levels are quiet enough to not notice unless sound is muted and room is quiet. Smart TV features right out of the box- Android TV is great when it works correctly Cons "Smart" features - Bundled Android TV stick is buggy and really detracts from the experience. It's seamlessly integrated in to the projector but is frustrating enough to remove it to free up the HDMI port. -Freezes often and seemingly randomly. If USB power is left on then you must manually unplug it. -Bluetooth doesn't always automatically reconnect if disconnected (bluetooth only available through android tv stick) -Defaults to HDR10 output always Auto Iris feature can be a bit clicky and very audible if the scene /room is quiet Fan noise at high light output setting is loud enough to not want to use it unless listening to music or other content that will continuously drown it out. USB A power is 5v / 2a but not USB PD compliant so it won't power a chromecast 4k dongle Comes with 2 remotes (PJ remote /ATV remote) - One that controls the projector features + most android tv functions and one that controls android tv function only. - Both are bluetooth remotes with voice assistant capability - Projector remote controls everything EXCEPT bluetooth sound - volume buttons are for projector sound only - even if not enabled. -Android TV remote only powers on projector if HDMI CEC control is enabled and USB power is left on Doesn't seem to recognize content signal differences automatically - switching between SDR and HDR from Android TV or external streaming stick doesn't seem to work.
