Worth every penny!
Nice bass! Nice fit and finish. Amazing sound. The active eq paired with the Dimarzio pickups make for a wide very usable tonal pallet. I'm still dicovering all this bass can do and so far it's all top notch. I read a bunch of comments from other buyers on various sites complaining about this bass being noisy. The Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV is equipped with a super-thin bolt-on maple Charvel speed neck, crafted in the original style. Its caramelized treatment, graphite reinforcement, and heel-mount truss rod wheel make adjustments easy and efficient. The 12"-16" compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard gradually flattens from nut to heel, offering fast, smooth playing. With rolled edges, 20 jumbo frets, and Luminlay side dots, this bass guitar ensures precision and comfort.
Experience the powerful sound of DiMarzio pickups, featuring a Model J at the bridge for a well-rounded punch and a Model P in the middle for a warm, fat tone with a mid-range growl when pushed. The versatile electronics include a three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with a push/pull selector. This unique feature eliminates the risk of losing sound due to a dead battery, as a quick pull on the volume knob bypasses the EQ's active circuit and regains sound from the bass without the use of battery power.
