I really needed something like this. It's not perfect but does the trick.

I am not especially impressed with this reflector holder. It's very lightly constructed and doesn't securely hold anything bigger than maybe a 24-inch collapsible reflector. It's not the worst piece of gear I've bought, but I would not recommend it, unless you have small light reflectors or gobos, and you can manage to get it for $20 or less.

The concept is a great idea and if it worked it would've been exactly what I was looking for. However, the ball head is so cheaply made it is extremely difficult to get it tightened. I am fearful that over tightening will strip the screw. There would be no way to use this in the field because of its inability to tighten securely.

I have been using my Flashpoint bullhead reflector holder for about 3 years now and have yet to have it let me down. Holds reflectors firmly and in position without releasing or falling.

Works very the only issue is that it does droop a little when using a larger reflector.

I thought this reflector holder would save me some time, so purchased it. I tried it out in the studio and thought it was great! Then on first location shoot, while tightening the handle to a stand it easily just stripped, broke just like that. So, if you purchase this item, treat it with kid gloves, be very delicate when attaching it to a stand.

Flashpoint reflector holder is a useful addition for portraits. Must have if you have no assistance during photo shoot.

Sturdy and the springs that hold the reflector hold tight. Unfortunately the little jaw that holds the reflector on one end isn't quite wide enought to hold my large 5-1, so deduct 1 star. I may file it down as it is less than 1/8" too small.

This is a GREAT product. But there are a couple of limitations. First it is only will hold reflectors 48 inches in diameter or smaller. And second, some of the better made reflectors have a thick strengthening lip around the perimeter of the reflector that will not fit in the jaws of the holder.

As described holds securely in all directions.

Works well because it centers the reflector with the light stand, instead of needing a counter weight balancing the reflector on a lightweight boom-arm style holder.

Works well for what it is. I like how you can angle it easily.

This holder works great! It was very easy and fast to put together, holds my reflector snugly. The price point is great on this product. It is one less thing I have to hold or try to clamp. This item is one that “makes you work smarter, not harder”. I also wish I had ordered this a long time ago.

This lasted just under a year, then the ball head completely stripped out. It was probably used twice a month. Not worth it for the amount of use.

This is as simple as it looks. I took me few minutes to figure out how to set the reflector but once you do it you are good to go. Holds my 32" relflecor.

Why I didn't purchase this years ago is beyond me. How many years have I used clamps, and client's family members to hold my reflector while shooting? They aren't photographers and haven't spent decades of their career learning to see light. I can get them close, but it's never just where I want it to be. What I appreciate the most about this holder is the price. Adorama has done a tremendous job with their Flashpoint line of modifiers and equipment. My second round of applause is in the actual design. The reflector is balanced on the center, while most other designs have the reflector coming off to one side, which means it's prone to tipping over, especially if you are working on your own in an outdoor setting with the slightest breeze. The build quality is exactly what you'd expect from an inexpensive holder. The ball joint is a great feature, but it's rough. Then again, I didn't spend $ on the ball joint either. The extensions are a little funky. One of them simply moves the main post left/right, while the other one telescopes out. Once you play with it a few minutes, you'll never look back. It's such a simple addition to my studio/location kit, but it makes all the difference. I can angle the reflector and lock it in place. Move it up/down and it's always where I want it. Highly recommend for your lighting kit. A good investment!

Love this! It took me a little minute to figure out how the reflector went in (had to come back and look at the photo, but that's just me - not mechanically minded! It's great, I can now use a reflector either in studio or in the field without an assistant!

Holds reflectors securely in any position. You do have to crank down on the hardware to really lock it in place, but this is exactly what I was looking for at a great price. It's not a boom style holder, which doesn't leave me worried that it will tip, and I am confident it will stay where you put it. It can still be used overhead - just position the reflector face towards the bar, raise it up, and position it. The bar does not interfere with the reflection of light. It doesn't have a st...
