Review Summary

I like this type mount and have used it on my monopod with telephotos, but I prefer cam lock versions instead of screw tightened. The nob is too small, and my hands too old to be sure I've got this locked down well enough. Just my opinion. Never had a failure. Perfect fit and smooth operation.

I purchased a mono-pod and needed the use of my quick release on my camera. The added clamp works perfectly.

I put this clamp on my Kirk ball head after the original clamp gave out. This clamp tightens quick and holds very good. It's as fast as lever lock. but way safer. I've seen people have a lot of problems with those lever locks. To the point of almost losing their camera and lens crashing to the ground I highly recommend this clamp.

Very nice that the knob doesn't come off. Quick to tighten and release. When tight, it does not loosen inadvertently.

This is a very good quick release clamp. It is interchangeable with other, more expensive systems. I have no complaints at all.

I have two of these screw type clamps, and I much prefer them over a lever type that I also have. Very well made - light, and screw is quick.

After extensive research and development, we present the Quick Release Clamp with Spring-loaded Detent Pin, Rubber Knob, and Double Speed Thread. This innovative product is designed with the professional photographer in mind, offering a secure and efficient method of attaching a camera or lens to a tripod head.
The clamp is compatible with Arca Swiss, a system highly regarded by professional photographers worldwide. However, we've taken it a step further by addressing a common concern among users - the risk of the plate and its attached camera sliding out if the clamping knob is accidentally loosened.
Our solution is a spring-loaded detent pin that projects into the pockets or windows cut into the bottom of most manufacturers' quick release plates, including Acratech, Kirk, and Really Right Stuff. This detent pin acts as a safety feature, preventing the plate from accidentally sliding out even if the knob is partially loosened.
The Quick Release Clamp also boasts a double speed thread, allowing for swift and easy adjustments. The rubber knob can be tightened or loosened with one hand, adding to its versatility and ease of use in various situations.
Please note, when using this system, quick release plates must be inserted and removed by opening the clamp and inserting or removing the plates from the top. Older style plates like the original Arca Swiss that do not have pockets or windows on the bottom can still be used with this system, but the detent pin's effectiveness may be reduced.
Constructed from durable black anodized aluminum, this Quick Release Clamp is not only sturdy and reliable but also resistant to corrosion, making it a long-lasting addition to your photography equipment. Whether you're a professional photographer or an enthusiast, this Quick Release Clamp is designed to enhance your photography experience by providing stability and ease of use.
