My bestfriend is a Speck loyalist and kept telling me that she plans to buy the design that has birds but when I was about to buy it for her, it was already sold out so this style is the closest to her Speck ipad mini case so i bought it and she loved it! Hoping for more cool designs. I am a Speck user myself! Thanks guys you rock!

For the money, this is a low quality product. It doesn't have a swivel to allow viewing from both horizontal and vertical positions. The clip that closes it is flimsy (a magnetic closer is much more efficient) and, while this seems trivial. It's made for a right handed individual; it must be facing right to allow screen usage,use of the lightening port and access your home button. If you are left handed, you'll understand this is an issue. The colors are nice but I'll be looking for one with some designs and pizzaz next time.

I would have given this a 5 star rating because I find speck products to be of excellent quality and worth the cost. What I find disappointing is that this case is advertised as being compatible with the iPad mini 5. Yes, the 5 fits into the case, but the cutouts for volume buttons and lack of cutouts for speakers, etc make this a compromise product for the iPad mini 5.

Never dropped the iPad but the four corners have deteriorated and cracked and eventually the iPad will not remain in place. Very disappointed with this, they should redesign the sides of the case with some sort of strong rubber to encase the iPad rather than the hard plastic that is cracking and breaking away. If they could correct this it would be a great case but as it is it is horrible.

I use the I pad mini four case on a daily basis and I never take it off. I love the design and how well protected my iPad is. Previously I owned a case but it took a pretty bad fall (hence why you should not play with one year Labrador Retriever with your iPad in your hand). After the fall my iPad was completely fine with not even one scratch, but the case had a cracked next to the volume buttons. I full trust my iPad in this case and I don't have to second guess my choice ever. It is really nice having a trustworthy case I can stand behind!

I got this case for an incredible deal on Black Friday, unfortunately, I am seeing why it was so cheap. I use my iPad daily for many uses including school, so I am not surprised that this case is slowly getting worn out. However, I am not happy that the floral design is rubbing off, especially near the edges, the plastic surrounding the sides of the of the iPad screen is cracking and even coming off in pieces, and the lock/clasp elastic broke and is now causing the fabric to fray. The case protects my iPad, but I wish the case absorbed common wear and tear externally better.

This is my second Speck iPad mini case and I really wouldn't consider buying another brand since the first one has protected so well. The old one is about 4 or 5 years old and getting kind of battered so I decided it was time to update.

Love this case. It is minimalist, but protects my IPAD Mini 4 very, very well. The case is really comfortable to hold, sets the IPAD up for working, playing or reading and the colors are beautiful. This is my second IPAD case from Speck, I also have an IPhone case, my husband is on his second IPAD case and I suppose you can say for tech cases we are a Speck family.

I've had this case for iPads in the past. I recently purchased it for my iPad mini 4, because I am a big fan of Speck and this model. However, I'm disappointed and confused to why this does not have holes for the speakers for the iPad? This is my second cover. I am only replacing the first one because of two years wear and a desire for a new cover design. This case protects my iPad beautifully. I have dropped it many times without any damage to device or cover. Great for reading with the cover folded. Highly recommend!
