Very nice phone case. It does amplify the sound as described. I wish it had a better grip to it. I always had a candyshell grip case and got use to the grip of the case.

I like to use this sound amplifier when I'm at the pool, beach or work. It's great because it's not mechanical. It works very well. Especially for the price.

I've had my case for 4 months now. I love it! I ordered the cadet blue, it really is a sharp looking case. I've dropped my phone twice, (I also have Speck's screen protector on) and haven't had any damage or issues. The sound - I can watch Netflix or listen to music on Spotify now. What an improvement over the sound when I didn't have this case on. Not perfect but much, much better. The case maintained it's high gloss for a couple of months, now it's dull but with such a nice color òn this case that it still looks decent. The back does scratch easily, but nothing deep. Awesome case!

Fit perfectly on my phone. Easiest case to install I've ever had. Easy to get to charging opening easy to access. Everything lined up perfectly with my phone. Got the Caribbean - gorgeous.

I recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S5 cell phone. The volume on this phone is poor and difficult to hear with the rear speaker.. I have had Speck cases on many of my phones and use them because of their quality. I recently discovered the Speck Amped case and thought I'd try it. This case really surprised me and I found I had to actually turn the volume down. I could actually hear the phone two rooms away. Thanks Speck for coming out with a product that amplifies the sound without electronics. If I can find another I'll be getting a Spare. Great product..

I searched all the Galaxy S5 cases out there and this one seemed to provide the best protection and it does amplify the sound as advertised. It does make the phone about twice as thick as it would be but I haven't found anything that makes that a problem yet. I love the blue case, very vibrant. The amplification does sound a bit bassy but still clear and understandable. I found it on sale at Best Buy for half price so can't beat that for a Speck case.

I consider myself an experienced reviewer bc I have used Speck cases on various phones for years. Hands down, they are my best cases! I have been waiting for the Amped cases for my Galaxys5 and once again, Speck lived up to my expectations! This cases is a little thicker, but I have no trouble opening my USB port or plugging in earphones! Snug fit, handsome case, I am confident that my phone is protected! I still have the first Speck I ever bought and even though it looks used, it is still functional, so yeah Speck has my devotion!!

I searched long and hard for a case to protect my Samsung Galaxy s5 and this case is hands down the best thing out there. It's got military grade protection, good looks and feels nice in my hand. The sound though, wow! Amazing! It really does what it promises to do. I wish it came in other colors /designs but the black/gray combo looks nice and sleek. A little pricey but worth the money to protect your investment.

Don't get me wrong, the case looks great, in spite of the thickness, and seems to work, but the walls of the case are so thick that it's impossible to open the flap covering the USB port without using something to pry it open, which I'm sure would inevitable cause it to break.
