This guitar is really nice for the price. I had a MIM Fender Telecaster Thinline '72 Reissue a few years ago, and I can not tell the difference in sound or playability

Don't be put off by the Squire label on the headstock. This is a very fine instrument with a high attention to detail. Many "budget" model guitars won't have the same silky smooth fretwork as this model as well as its other attentive details and sound quality. Blindfolded, you wouldn't be able to tell this guitar from one of Fender's higher-priced models. I'm very happy with my purchase.

A bit different that your standard tele ,but a really nice playing and sounding guitar. The WRHV's have their own sound that fits perfectly with the semi hollow body. It's light good looking easy to play and the price was hard to beat

Nice guitar, set up fairly well right out of the box. Plays well with no buzzing.

Picked this Telecaster up on sale for one of my kids, and the fit and finish is exceptional for this price range. The Fender humbuckers have a great tone.

Squier's Vintage Modified '72 Telecaster Thinline evokes the popular second incarnation of that era's stylishly enlightened Tele model. The original late-'60s version, with its two single-coil pickups, was updated in 1972 with two great-big, great-sounding Wide Range humbucking pickups for an even more distinctive sound and personality and that's exactly what Squier gives you here, along with a gorgeous semi-hollow ash body and white pearloid pickguard, smooth-playing maple neck and fingerboard, six-saddle string-through-body bridge and much more.
