Surprisingly good right out of the box. Pots are small, but 250K vs normal 500K on these lower end Teles - that was a surprise. Overall setup was good and minor fret setting to smooth out edges, but not really necessary. All in all, a solid guitar with a solid sound & sustain, especially for this price. I would highly recommend this as a starter or even intermediate entry point. You want a try out a Tele but don’t want to shell out a lot of money? This is your guitar - stop thinking and buy it!

this guitar is absolutely awesome!!!!! it seems like I underpaid! once I got it, I kind of felt guilty paying so little for it......it has a clear sound, and feels very comfortable. I have a fender strat, but have been using this new baby exclusively, of late. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!! it makes for great playing!!!

This semi-hollow Telecaster Thinline design is showcased on a rich natural-finish mahogany body with f-hole and attractive white pearloid pickguard. The gloss maple neck has 21 medium-jumbo frets and a modern 9.5" radius; other features include vintage-style tuners, three-saddle bridge and set of custom alnico V single-coil pickups.
