Surprisingly good right out of the box. Pots are small, but 250K vs normal 500K on these lower end Teles - that was a surprise. Overall setup was good and minor fret setting to smooth out edges, but not really necessary. All in all, a solid guitar with a solid sound & sustain, especially for this price. I would highly recommend this as a starter or even intermediate entry point. You want a try out a Tele but don’t want to shell out a lot of money? This is your guitar - stop thinking and buy it!

this guitar is absolutely awesome!!!!! it seems like I underpaid! once I got it, I kind of felt guilty paying so little for it......it has a clear sound, and feels very comfortable. I have a fender strat, but have been using this new baby exclusively, of late. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!! it makes for great playing!!!

A Tele You Can Afford and Love
One of the best values available in guitar design today, Squier's Affinity Series Tele guitar features authentic sound, versatile controls and truly classic Telecaster guitar style. Ideal for all styles of music - rock, blues, pop, even jazz - this versatile guitar is now available in a left-handed model.
Alder body (left-handed) in Butterscotch Blonde finish
Maple neck with "C"-shaped profile and 21-fret maple fingerboard
Dual single-coil Telecaster pickups with three-way switching
"Top-load" Telecaster bridge
Black pickguard
Two Single-Coil Pickups with Three-Way Switching - The three-way pickup switch selects between bridge pickup alone, both pickups at once or neck pickup alone for a variety of tones that can work with any style of music.
Six-Saddle Top Load Bridge - A top load bridge creates a slightly "slinkier" feel by reducing the break angle of the strings over the saddles. The six individual saddles can be adjusted for precise intonation along each string.
