It's a beautiful looking guitar and I can't be anymore happy with it. I love the blue with the glossy stripes look. The pickups aren't bad but I plan I swapping them in the future. But I do have two complaints about it. First, it's hard to tune it or have it stay properly tune. And when I purchased it, the edges on the frets were extremely sharp that it caused chasing on the bottom of my index finger. But overall, I'm still happy with it and I can make those minor adjustments.

Great Guitar for both first time starters or, for someone who has been playing for years (such as myself) This guitar is fantastic. although the tuners and bridge leave something to be desired, the pickups are surprisingly good, but HOT. All this aside, this is the perfect tinker, build, Mod, Play guitar. This is the perfect low budget pallet to upgrade and make awesome! Get one yourself and enjoy moding and upgrading!

I ordered one of these beauties last December 2022. I've been largely so satisfied First, the blue color is beautiful. the racing strip adds a nice pizzazz from the usual Squier colors! This is a short scale guitar at 24 inches vs most standard guitars of 25.5 inches. This means two things: 1-For standard tuning, there's less tension on the strings so it's easier for press to the fretboard to play notes and chords. 2-It fits smaller hands so fingers don't have to stretch quite so much. But I have large hands and it's size doesn't faze me. In fact, I like it better than my standard scale electric & acoustic guitars! Another family member has small hands and finds it equally easy to play! The guitar is also exceedingly light for a solid body guitar! Mine weighs 6.2 lbs. My other fuil scale size solid body weighs 10 lbs.! This Mustang It looks great, sleek and modern. The body is slightly smaller and slimmer than the standard Fender Mustang. The finish on the body is nearly flawless considering it's price point. The neck is very slim with natural color maple wood with light seal coat. It was slightly "rough" & most folks probably wouldn't notice. I suggest using a 1000 grit sanding sponge to lightly sand the subtle "whiskers" smooth (or take it to a luthier for a complete setup). But a year's worth of practicing with one's hand up and down the neck would do largely the same. In my case I also applied "Doctor Duck's Ax Wax" with just a few drops on my finger, spread evenly and let dry then buffed and the neck is super slick and presents no friction on your hand. Also, the fretboard was very dry so at the same technique of Ax Wax also slickened the fretboard. The strings, and the brass frets had a sticky coating, probably anti-corrosion as it's shipped from Indonesia across the ocean for some weeks. I had the guitar set up professionally and the luthier put on new strings ("Ernie Ball Super Slinky Classic Pure Nickel Electric Guitar 9-42s") and polished the frets and fret ends smooth plus set up proper intonation. I love the slim neck on this guitar! It has spoiled me. It helps me more rapidly slide up and down the neck. It's now my favorite guitar! Recently I replaced the stock white-"Musiclily Pro 9 Holes Round Corner HH Guitar Pickguard 2 Humbuckers for Squier Bullet Series Mustang Electric Guitar, 4Ply White Pearl" - from Amazon. For a measly $10! What a bargain. It really sparkles and sets off the guitar in an even more classy way nicely. But to do so I had to replace the strings. The bridge is a bit of a pain to run new strings through it! I used a thin tweezers to guide them to the intonation notch above the string hole. Maybe there's an easier way I haven't figured out yet..So that's one fault. The second fault is the guitar came in it's original factory box, which is nothing special. The first guitar came with severe cracks-even the wood split, showing through the finish. Where cracks usually show is where the guitar body and neck are mated and bolted. So inspect the guitar closely for defects. Had to return and reorder. The second guitar had, in the same place, minor finish cracks but this time thinner than a hair & I determined they were just in the finish and they've not changed in the months of ownership. My luthier confirmed they weren't structural. As seen in second photo. The string tuners are inexpensive tuners, but actually seem to hold tune once the strings are stretched and played for a few days. I'm not a professional in need of perfection and they're ok enough for me. Also beginners might like a strap. If you buy one, include Fender Strap Blocks to make sure the strap doesn't accidentally slip off. (It's happened to me with my professional-level 10lb guitar and I barely caught it before it hit the floor and dented the guitar!) For what it's worth-- though I'm using the Fender rubber locks, I'm personally going a more expensive route with D'Addario locking set.The rubber washers are way cheaper. Overall, it's a fine guitar for a youngster, but also many adults would enjoy it! With slight modifications (the tuners and bridge upgrade) it could be used professionally. Just inspect it once it arrives to your house. Also, and this is standard advice for getting ANY guitar shipped to your home: let it come to temperature in your residence in it's original box for at least 6 hours before opening, if outdoor temperatures have been very high or low. That's what I did, though like I said, the first Mustang ordered was badly damaged despite the precaution. Remember this was manufactured in Asia, shipped to the UK, for a special order sale there then boated AGAIN back to California, then shipped to Adorama's warehouse! Overall--Recommended!

This is a fantastic guitar. It plays really well, has great action, a comfortable fretboard, and was basically already set up. The stock pickups sound perfect for 90s alternative rock and indie rock. I swapped out the pickups for a duncan quarter pounder in the neck and a duncan JB trembucker in the bridge and I'm very happy with the results.

My Stepson loves his new guitar. It was the perfect Christmas present. It works well and sounds great. Thank you.

I initially purchased this guitar as a potential mod guitar. But honestly, it's great as it is. The color is beautiful, the pickups sound great and it stays in tune very well. I will probably change out the pickguard because it's a plain white, single ply pickguard. And will try and smooth out the neck and the fret ends a little. The color is darker than the product images, but in a better way. It's also darker than the Telecaster Adorama sells in lake placid blue (I have both). I was a little hesitant in buying another guitar in the same color. But they are both different and both look fantastic.

Needs a little fret work, but best overall guitar for the money hands down. Versatile, powerful

I thought the guitar was ok fine line scratches lite rub marks but the worst is the fretting out I'm trying to adjust the neck relief and string height but I think it really needs professional help. I am sure I wouldn't buy a guitar this way again it really is a shame someone would waist a customer's time and money.

What a fun guitar! I already had one in a different color and couldn?t pass up on this one for the price. It punches far above its belt! You can use it as a modding platform, but it really doesn?t need mods to be a usable guitar.

The guitar was packaged and shipped well and it shipped much faster than expected. It played well out of the box and is my new favorite pick-up-and- play guitar because it's so thin, lightweight, and resonant. It's pretty loud unplugged and plays much better than I expected. Excellent guitar both in terms of playability and looks.

Amazing value. My FSR Mustang is really well made and finished. Setup only required a tweak to the truss rod, like any new guitar. No fret sprout at all, very smoothly finished fret edges, fret surfaces level and pretty smooth. I polished them up fully just by playing a little. The maple neck is perfectly smooth and the satin finish is super playable and does not get sticky. Fretboard is really attractive and nicely finished too. Intonation was as close to perfect as I care about out of the box (two strings are juuust a hair off, the rest are perfect). Oh, and it seriously cranks, especially for grunge/punk. It even sounds really sweet (for an electric) unplugged as well. There seems to be a little quality control variation on some Squire Bullets -- a few Bullet Mustangs I looked at in a local store were not FSR and had some minor rough patches on the necks and some sharp frets. So...I don't know if FSR have a little higher quality control or you just have to hope for a really good one. A lot of glowing professional reviews of these guitars -- I mean, wow, I can see why! Mine is perfect.

great little guitar for my kids. Recommend the Fender Guitarman 10G amp to go along with this. Got both for cheap and is a great combination for learners. Highly recommend.

I bought this guitar for my daughter, but I'm having fun playing it too. This guitar is a great value and plays very well. Still needs some better strings and a professional set-up, but I find all guitars do. After tuning it the guitar is very playable straight out of the box. Arrived in great new condition very quickly especially with free shipping. Looks great with the competition stripes!

Positives are it's a very beautiful guitar, the blue is much darker in person but I think its better that way. The guitar is lightweight and very comfortable to play. The competition stripes is what makes this guitar unique. Negatives are it definitely needed to be setup. The guitar arrived with screws holding down the bridge and pickguard that have rust on them. There was two chips in the headstock. Overall I recommend this guitar.

Great guitar at a good price

Designed for players seeking an affordable, stylish and versatile instrument, the Bullet Mustang HH is a tonal powerhouse that punches above its weight. Highlights include a thin and lightweight body, an easy-to-play "C"-shaped neck profile and a short 24" scale length that is great for small hands.
This model also boasts a pair of humbucking pickups with three-way switching for sonic variety, and a 6-saddle hardtail bridge for reliable tuning stability.
