The nut of this Fender Player Series Jazz Bass guitar neck comes pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves. This thoughtful feature simplifies the process of spacing during the final string slot filing, saving you time and effort.

Please note that as Fender genuine replacement necks have not been previously mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel.
