I like that the mount feels sturdier than other ones. It's easy to attach it to my tripod. Also super easy to rotate my phone without compromising on balance. I just wonder if the tension will decrease over time and eventually not work. It's also a bit difficult to put the phone in and take it off the mount because it's clamped tight (which on the other hand is good for not dropping your phone).

I HAD TERRIBLE TIME TAKING PICTURES WITHOUT THIS TRIPOD, BUT NOW I HAVE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES. IT IS COMPACT AND I CAN CARRY WITH ME ANY PLACE.IT WEIGHTS ONLY 2 OZ.LOVE IT

A very good device.

A slick little piece of work. I’m using it to attach my phone to a mini-tripod with flex legs. 

My complaint is that the bolt that holds the clamp to the body of the device never totally tightens. Even tightened to the point of hurting my fingers the clamp still rocks back and forth under pressure. 

For the price, a good accessory. I wouldn’t use it in an application where it is going to be moved around.

Useful, slightly wobbly

The spring holds my iPhone 7 snuggly without marring the case and the adjustable pivot point is smooth but locks down tightly when you need it to. My only real gripe is with the 1/4" 20 tripod mount. There isn't a huge amount of material around the threaded hole so it can feel a bit whippy depending on what kind of mount you're attaching it too. If I were only ever using it with a pocket tripod like the one pictured I'd give this 5 stars, but try to lock it down on any sort of pro grade tripod, camera cage or the like and you'll wish there were a bit more meat there to take down on. Pro tip: try cutting a small segment of innertube or other rubber and place it over the base and cut a small hole for the threads to pass through. The added grippiness of the rubber seems to help.

Solid build, somewhat shaking mount

Quality level is appropiate to price. Trusting an 800 dollar phone to cheaper bracket did not seem prudent. I wold not use to hold a phone where there would be a lot of vibration  (like on bike handlebars)but think it would stay put but that would probably wreck your phone. I liked this clamp so much I bought a larger one for my wife to use with her 8 inch tablet, easier to grip than the tablet alone and has the quarter by 20 tapped hole for other applications.
