The build quality is much better than I expected for the price. The clamp head is metal and feels solid, and it clamp onto a rather large range of poles. The ball head is small but with a good feel. I wouldn't expect it to hold a big DSLR, but small accessories should be fine. And the ball head can be removed and attached to any 1/4-20 mount (e.g., tabletop tripod). Very versatile little device!
