Good, one issue for Nikon DSLR owners

Pro: Solid and plenty of attachment points. Mounts D610 firmly between tripod screw and hot shoe.Side bars make good handles. Con: Partially covers battery access cover on Nikon D610. Have to remove camera to change battery and it may not work with external power.

About SmallRig VersaFrame Cage

The rods on both sides let you go handheld right away. Both rods can be adjusted in height and position around the camera, and one side can even be completely removed if not needed. All camera connections, buttons, dials and the battery door remain fully accessible. Our custom hotshoe pinch connects your camera into one solid piece with the cage.

Plenty of 1/4"-20 mounting threads allow for assembly of a full rig to your needs. This cage is very lightweight, and compatible with Canon 80D, 70D, 60D, 50D, 40D, 30D, 6D, 7D, 7D MarkII, 5D MarkII, 5D MarkIII, 5DS, 5DS R, Nikon D7000, D7100, D7200, D300S, D610, DF, Sony A99, and of course almost any medium-sized DSLR on the market. The height of the cheese rods is 145mm, the width of this cage is 196mm.
