Had been looking into getting one for my Nikon Z6 II for use during my landscape photography outings. When I saw that Adorama had one on sale, I made the purchase. It gives me a little extra to hold onto, and works with many of my tripods. I don't know how I could have gone so long without purchasing one. It is a lifesaver.

You can't go wrong with SmallRigs. The design is very thoughtful. It even has magnetic tools attached to the L bracket so you will never forget your Allen wrench. The fit is perfect. The extendable arm is sturdy and allow you to plugged in while shooting vertically. It's not over priced like some other brands. Bought 2 of them for my both cameras already!

Purchased on sale at about 50% off and for the price, this is the best L bracket. Sure the RRS or 3-Leggeg Thing are made of better materials, but they also cost 4 times or more the price this L bracket cost.

Very thoughtful design. Fit my Nikon Z 6II perfectly. The megalithic screw driver head can be easily attached or detached from the bottom of the L brackets to screw the bracket on or off. It also can be used to extend the arm so that you can have extra space to plug the usb/usb-c cables into the camera while it's mounted on the ball head. It also doesn't block the battery doors. The center marks on both axis are very helpful if you are doing panorama shots and need to pan your camera. Highly recommend this product!

I got this for my A7IV and it fits the body perfectly. EXCEPT it makes access to the top, rear ports a little awkward (it's hard to get a fingernail in there to pop open the cover). Otherwise, it's great.

This bracket is very secure, I love how easy it makes it to put on and off the tripod in vertical and horizontal orientation. One of the great things is the magnetic storage for the tool to take it on and off, as well as adjust it. For shooting on a tripod it is perfect. I had hoped that the grip extension would make it more comfortable to hold, but at least for my hands it does not. The extension has to bulge out a bit to make room for the battery door, and that does not make it a great place for my pinkie. I still prefer to take it off if I am going to be exclusively handheld.

Fits Z6II perfectly. The Z6II body is smaller than a DSLR and so my little finger hangs off the end of the grip. This bracket extends the grip so my little finger can grip the camera. Great price, quality product.

Small Rig bracket fits the Z9 perfectly. It is sturdy, low profile and affordable. It fits easy in the hand while holding the camera and while on the tripod holds the camera rock steady.

The SmallRig L-Bracket does what it should do. It fits my Z7ii perfectly without blocking any functional entrance. It also includes a small key for tightening the screws, which can be stored inside the bracket. A great buy.

I like the bracket overall but the vertical section blocks access to the LAN port which I use quite often and having to take that piece off the camera when I need to transfer images is a bit of an inconvenience.

So I had a SmallRig L-Bracket for my A7iii for years and LOVED it, and when I upgraded to the A7iv, naturally, had to get an L-Bracket for that as well for the type of work I do. Well, I can't tell if this is a design issue with the camera or the bracket, but while there are some great new upgrades/features on this one (included magnetic flathead, included magnetic allen, adjustable side bracket), one thing that I'm not too happy about is that it doesn't really play too nice with the new fully articulating screen on the A7iv. There is a cutout on the side-bracket to be able to at least have the screen out to the left and lying flat (horizontal with ground), but be careful not to try to close the screen or tilt it as the metal bracket can crack the screen. So essentially, you can't really use the full functionality of the A7iv's new fully articulating screen because you can't tilt the screen no matter what position it's in using this L-Bracket - only flatly perpendicular with the ground (default), or parallel with the ground (fully 90? horizontal). One thing I did ALL the time on my A7iii, especially when shooting real estate, was to pull the screen out slightly and tilt it up at a slight angle (about 15-30?) which made it easy to shoot and see for timed brackets, but can't do that with this one. So I'm not sure if this is a camera design flaw or a bracket flaw, but would be great if they work together to find a way to do that. I'll happily buy a new one if so.

The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 is that you have to remove the left side strap ring to get it to fit properly. For me, it works very well and it is priced well.
