This cage, model 4481, is meticulously crafted to safeguard your camera while enhancing its functionality through a variety of mounts. The standout feature of this cage is the patented HawkLock quick-release system. This self-developed structure integrates cold shoes, a NATO rail, and an Arca-Swiss mount, allowing seamless compatibility with HawkLock eco-accessories. This system ensures a secure fit with no false positioning, enabling quick attachment and release to significantly boost disassembly efficiency.For secure camera attachment, the cage utilizes a bottom locating pin, a 1/4"-20 screw, and an M2.5 screw on the left side. The side lock adapters are adjustable to accommodate different camera models. Specifically, adapters marked "A7 IV" are intended for the Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7R V, while those marked "A7S III" suit the Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1, and Alpha 7R IV.The cage is designed with built-in protective spacers to prevent scratches, ensuring your camera remains pristine. It provides unobstructed access to essential camera interfaces, dials, buttons, and battery doors. A spindle spanner located in the battery compartment is ergonomically designed to fit the camera's curve, offering a comfortable grip with room for your little finger.The SmallRig cage is equipped with multiple mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and HawkLock cold shoe mounts. These support a wide range of accessories such as the top handle 2165C, side handle 2093, monitor mount 2903, microphones, LED lights, and monitors. Additionally, the bottom QD socket is compatible with a QD shoulder strap for added convenience.The HawkLock Arca-Swiss quick-release plate at the bottom is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro, as well as the quick-release plate (riser plate) of the DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabilizer, facilitating stabilizer shooting. The cage also features strategically placed holes for attaching accessories like the hand strap PAC2456.For ease of use, the cage includes a built-in magnetic spanner, simplifying both disassembly and assembly. Note that after securing the 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom, the anti-deflection pin should be removed from the staging hole in the battery compartment and secured in the corresponding position. Additionally, to utilize the side lock adapter, the split ring on the left side of the camera must be removed first. This comprehensive design makes the SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Cage an essential accessory for photographers and videographers seeking enhanced camera protection and versatile mounting solutions.
