SmallRig Full Camera Cage Kit for Sony FX2, Black

SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony FX2 5588 is expertly designed to provide comprehensive protection and rich mounting options, while enhancing grip comfort for the XLR Handle. This kit includes a cage, a top plate, an XLR handle extension rig, a wrist strap, an HDMI cable clamp, and an Allen wrench.

Featuring precision cutouts, the cage ensures that the camera's tiltable EVF, buttons, and ports remain fully accessible for seamless operation. The XLR handle extension rig enhances comfort with an expanded grip area and features integrated 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching monitor mounts and other accessories.

The detachable top plate features a NATO rail, accommodating Sony's XLR top handle or SmallRig's rotating top handle (ID 4152) without interfering with the EVF. The cage incorporates multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483). A cold shoe mount allows for attaching devices like the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly.

The bottom quick release plate, paired with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID 4486), allows for rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. It also enables seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers). Additionally, an included HDMI cable clamp secures the cable for stable data transmission.
