SmallRig "HawkLock" Quick Release Half Cage for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV 6023 is designed to offer versatile expansion options and facilitate rapid setup transitions. The cage integrates an Arca-Swiss quick release plate that is compatible with Arca-Type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, allowing for seamless switching between handheld, gimbal, and tripod configurations. It allows swift mounting onto DJI gimbals without the need to remove the DJI quick release plate, improving setup efficiency.
The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories such as side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows for attaching devices like the DJI Mic 2 and lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability.
Additionally, the bottom quick release plate, paired with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID 4486), enables rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench for easy assembly and disassembly.
