A must for Blackmagic P4K/6k shooters!

My whole cage/rails is SmallRig: best bang for the buck by far. Buying the DJI Pro Combo, this was the only extra part on the order. Had I not chosen it for more adjustability, my P4K in it's cage would never even have mounted to the "lower plate". The stock "upper plate" has no lateral movement to clear the gimbal arm, but the SmallRig plate clears and still fills all the clamping space available. I've had no problem with the plate clamping securely in the stock DJI lower plate. So thankful I picked the one extra part not in the kit I needed...

The perfect replacement plate. Since you can?t buy the official Ronin S plate online, this is the perfect substitution and works like a charm.

The small camera attachment fit the Vinten Vision 3 tripod perfectly. The screws that came with it also fit my Panasonic cx350. I couldnen't ask for a better product to attach a smaller camera to the tripod head.

SmallRig Manfrotto 501PL-Type Quick Release Plate for Select
SmallRig Cages APU2458 has an open-middle design so that you can access the camera mounting screw through the plate and you can easily unmount the camera from the cage to move it to a gimbal, tripod, or other mounts to keep production time down. The plate attaches to the bottom of cage with the two included 1/4"-20 screws and can fit in a standard Manfrotto base, it also compatible with DJI RoninS Gimbal.

It's compatible with 30 cages from SmallRig, such as the BMPCC 4k cage 2203, the Sony A7III cage 2087 as well as the Nikon Z6/Z7 cage 2243. The plate features rubber pads to protect the cage and features anti-off design on bottom to prevent twisting. The lightweight plate weights only 36g.

Note:
The plate is currently compatible with the SmallRig cages as shown in the picture
