Black magic small rig cage is a must have!
I added the small rig cage to my order because I knew it would definitely be easier to mount it on my Ronin S. The only issue is the power on/off is kinda covered, but I am very happy with my choice! My camera now has a small exoskeleton for extra protection. I can mount whatever I need to it. I don’t see a reason to ever have to take it off. Definitely a must have for the black magic.

A great camera, be prepared to spend more though.
It's an absolute beast of a camera HOWEVER, you would be advised to get accessories for it, especially a battery alternative. I've had lots of fun using this so far.

SmallRing Cage for Canon SL3 Camera

Great cage for a great price
Great quality product! It feels really solid on the camera and I love the magnetic tool for tightening the baseplate screw. It still has easy access to the battery and sd card slot and it really enhances the use of the camera for filmmaking.

Smallrig cage needs improvement!
I would have given it 5 stars if only they had made the right side of the handle with the same design to mount the Smallrig wooden handle on both sides. I don't see any point of not doing it, since the space is there. People who are doing follow focus with the left hand would have handled the right hand side with the wooden grip.

Solid, but Blocks Port
I purchased this but had to return it due to the cage covering the remote port.
If you're using your 6D Mark II strictly for video and photos, this will work extremely well as the cage is comfortable to leave on at all times while shooting both... You'll even forget it's even there when shooting stills. However in my workflow, I use the remote port for time-lapse and stop-motion and I can't use this cage with those rigs. It was a big disappointment since this is the only cage for the 6D Mark II that I've found.
Hopefully Smallrig will fix this oversight or at least release a half cage or L Bracket to accommodate rigs that use the remote port.

Perfect first accessory
Super solid build. Lightweight. A perfect first accessory for the BMPCC4K giving so much flexibility to build it out. Smallrig is a great option, especially for the price.

lightweight basic protection
The biggest issue with this cage is that it does not accommodate the timecode cable. Besides that big oversite in design the cage does the basics of protecting the camera a bit and providing the ability to attach creation accessories to the camera. Decent value.
