SmallRig problem

I wouldn?t recommend this cage for the Sony A7R3A series bodies. Access to the mode dial is obstructed. On the older bodies this may not be a problem but on the body I own you have to depress a button to change modes and the cage makes this a cumbersome action. I removed mine after 1 week. This product is very well built like all of the SmallRig products, it just doesn?t work for me.

Fits the SA7iii well and holds my Atomos monitor /recorder nicely..Plenty of of room to get to the dials and openings for sd card /batt / cables,, Functional handle works well w video or still imaging. Perfect up close and personal work....

SmallRig Cage for Sony A7 III A7R III CCS2645 features a brand-new apperance of dark olive finish. It mounts to the camera using a 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom and s second M2.5 lock on the side, with rubber pads on the base plate preventing scratches. It comes with a variety of mounting options including 1/4''-20 and 3/8''-16 holes, ARRI locating holes and a cold shoe, which makes it easy to mount different camera accessories.

For example attach SmallRig Top Handle HTR2640 or Side Handle HSS2642 for a better hand-held shooting. An included screwdriver is designed to tighten or detach the screws both at the bottom and side. The cage maintains full access to camera's controls, ports and battery.
