A perfect fit, a perfect solution.

One of the great things about the Z Cam E2 is that it serves as the center of a system that can be as modular as the user wants it to be. At its most basic, just add a battery, monitor, lens, and CFast card and it’s ready to roll. But to build out the camera a bit more requires some mounting options, and the SmallRig cage does just that. It is well-designed and minimalistic, allowing full access to the display screen and all connections on the camera. The top of the cage features mounting points for a top handle with Arri locating pins, for a super-solid connection. The cage also features clamps to keep both the HDMI and USB-C cables solidly in place, alleviating concern about accidentally disconnecting these often-fragile types of cable connections. The cage also includes a support mount that easily attaches underneath a Metabones Speed Booster. Simply remove the threaded support mount that comes on the Speed Booster, then attach the SmallRig support to the same mounting points. This is an absolute must-have for the Z Cam E2.

SmallRig Cage for Z cam E2 Camera 2264 is designed to provide protection and mounting options for Z cam E2. The modular designed cage is mainly consists of a top plate, bottom plate, two side plates, HDMI and USB cable clamp as well as a M43 lens adapter support. The purpose of the cage is to make your setup lightweight so that you can use the side plate or bottom plate separately based on your needs.

The cage provides multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16 and arri 3/8" threaded holes for accessory attachment such as magic arm, cold shoe and handles. Each side plate comes with a nato rail allows for mounting Magic Arm 2071 for monitor and Nato Handle 2187 to make your setup quick releasable. The bottom plate features rubber cushions on the top to prevent the cage from scratching the camera and integrates with an Arca Swiss plate allows to mount your Z cam E2 camera to the Arca tripod directly in seconds.
