SmallRig quick release clamp
Well made piece and adds nice utility for quickly pulling my camera out of the rig for switching to a gimbal. My only complaint is that the thread holes on the bottom don't line up with my SmallRig rod baseplate to have more than just a center screw installed. I was hoping another screw would line up for better anti-twisting security.

Simple and effective

The perfect Arca clamp for a solid and secure attachment
I love this clamp as it also accommodated up to 2 screws for a sturdy ?no-spin? attachment to my rig! The clamp is tight, and has worked with various other Arca type brands.

Not what I needed
It was not what the picture shows. The pic shows a lever and the one I received was a twisting action, It cant turn if attached for a camera. I am very busy and forgot to send it back.

Smallrig yuck release. The unit works well for my need. Would like a slightly larger quick release yes.
Definitely too high of a price for this unit!

Excellent Acra clamp for converting non-acra mount for use with Small Rig cage.
Perfect conversion clamp for those wanting to mount a Small Rig cage on an old fashioned camera plate such as found on Vivitar tripods or even older tripods without a quick release mount. You do need to make sure to use a thread diameter converter web mounting this clamp to the Vivitar plate.

Safe and secure
I love this clamp. Works perfectly with plates from 2 different mfgrs. I hang $2,000+ worth of gear on it without a worry (G9 w/ 35-100 f2.8) on a Rapid Strap covering football games... no worries. Dangles securely when switching to a second camera or when moving down the sidelines.
The Locking lever is much less likely to snag on things then the others that I have purchased which rely on an adjustment knob that sticks out from the side.

Not compatible with Arca's plate! (Also Gitzo's)
It has been claimed as "Arca-type compatible" but it won't hold Arca Swiss's dovetail plate even the tightness screw has been adjusted to tightest position. I also tested my Gitzo-branded plate which also doesn't work.
Also I have found the device is not perfectly parallel to the edge if a longer Arca-style plate has been used, because the fixture only covers half of the side and does not give even pressure.
