Functionally driven!

I was use a somewhat heavy rig when recording videos. This top handle makes holding the rig easier on the forearm and also adds stability when filming. It is of good construction and the mounting rails makes adding attachments a breeze.

Holds Well and Hides Well

Disliked my SSD on top of my SmallRig cage, this handle holds it and hides it well. The SSD is secure and the handle does not get in the way of my cables attached to my BMPCC4k. The handle is a bit on the heavy side but it only means it is durable. It helped me hold my camera on a super hot day and never once did it slip my grip.

Good value, but not incredible

Works great! Lots of adjustability and I really wanted a Nato-compatible handle. My only qualm is that it's not the most comfortable grip--I have larger hands and it feels a bit small/slipper since it's all metal.

Solid

Well made. There’s an Allen key built into the handle to loosen the two bolts that let the handle be moved front to rear so as to balance the camera. The key is solidly held in place by a notch and magnets.

SmallRig NATO Handle for Samsung T5 SSD HSN2270 is a comfortable wooden handle, which can attach directly to the left NATO rail on SmallRig BMPCC 4K & 6K Cage 2203, CVB2254 and CVB2255, and Z CAM E2 cage 2264. It is switchable to be used on both left and right hands. The handle leaves space inside to accommodate the Samsung T5 SSD, protecting the SSD drive and making the camera rig more compact.

Also the anti-off lock on the bottom prevents accidental dropping of the SSD. Simply put the SSD into the handle from the bottom, securely lock it by a knob screw; the wire is plugged in from the top. On the top of the handle are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes where accessories like SmallRig Monitor Mount 1842, SmallRig Cold Shoe 1960 and 2260 can be attached.
