Snake River Prototyping 55mm URPro Shallow Water Cyan Filter

The Snake River Prototyping 55mm URPro Shallow Water Cyan Filter is a dive filter for use in shallow blue tropical waters. Because water tends to absorb red light, filters are essential for maintaining proper white balance when filming or taking photos underwater. This filter is ideal for use at depths of less than 25 feet (8m).

The filter features an ultra low-profile filter ring designed to avoid vignetting when used for cameras with very wide lenses, such as the GoPro HERO3. Note that because of the low-profile design, there is no outside threading to allow you to stack additional filters on top. Dive sites where the Shallow Water Cyan Filter is recommended include French Polynesia, Belize, Cozumel, Caribbean, the Maldives and the Great Barrier Reef.
