I use my monitor for Gaming and work purposes. It delivers high resolution gameplay no motion blurr, crystal clear picture as I type my word documents. It delivers more when I switch my monitor to watch YouTube, crunchyroll. These small features stream line the viewing experience. I would purchase this monitor again.

The G80SD OLED is hands down the best monitor I've ever used. This is one of the best monitors I have used for both work and gaming until now. The colors are vivid and HDR content appears stunning on the monitor. For productivity tasks and things like video editing, the monitor is easy on the eyes and provides sharp text and images. For gaming the monitor provides fast response time and refresh rates. Occasionally though it limits the frame rate at 60 and I need to switch content type to something other than Games and back to Games to make it work. However, I am not liking the input switching mechanism of this monitor - where I have to go to home, then pick connectivity menu, (wait for screen to go blank/black and come back), scroll to the new input and select it. Additionally, when a device reboots, the display turns off while it tries to figure out the input - this happens multiple times (before showing the POST screen, before showing the Windows/Linus boot screen etc.) making it difficult to do things like going into bios or pick boot options.

Really love the display but I have issues with the display blacking out from time to time. I would say if I sit down to play some games for 2-4 hours it will happen 1-3 times normally the screen will recover within 1 to 2 seconds. I have ruled out Graphics card, display cable, and port. I guess it has something to do with the high refresh rate. I might try dropping to 120hz to see if the issue resolves but I really love the monitor the other 99.9% of the time.

This monitor does it all. It looks great, it is fast, it has no problems with brightness (take a bit of configuring to get where I want it) and has a smart hub to be used like a TV. I have bought and returned many monitors over the years for minute things but I have not a single complaint with this monitor and I plan to keep it for years to come (until Samsung can top this monitor). The monitor has great viewing angles thanks to it's stupendous OLED panel and the uniformity look makes the monitor look like a set piece to your setup. The experience of watching or playing something on this monitor is like a window into another world.

I frequently use this monitor for both of my consoles in addition to my pc. While it is necessary to note that i had a problem with flickering row of pixels on the monitor while using my pc it seems to be a one off issue that has yet to appear agian. This monitor has both a beautiful display and color range some users may note that sometimes the brightness in environments with lots of light leaves room to be desired. While the anti reflective coating helps mitigate the issue, it can sometimes be ineffective when combined with both natural and artificial lighting.

PROS: The image is great as expected from 4k OLED. No reflections in a well lit room as advertised about the coating, monitor design is beautiful along with the stand. CONS: Back I/O feels flimsy, no power delivery port. OS makes it like wants to be a TV but its not, slows down set up process/sluggish and most people who buy this just for PC gaming won't use that feature. MAJOR CONS: Had this monitor for 5 months, waited on firmware updates/graphics drivers updates. I am one of many who are suffering from periodic black screen flickers. There has been some who had resolution going to HDMI or turning off GSYNC or buying better cables. However, I will not use HDMI as I paid for this 240hz experience and have tried premium display port cables. The monitor is advertised to use GSYNC so I will not turn that off as well. Outside of return window so support has me sending this in for "technician inspection".

Picked up the Samsung G80SD OLED on launch day and have been using it daily for 9+ hours with zero signs of burn-in-impressive for an OLED. I can't speak to the full gaming potential since my 1080 Ti can't push the high refresh rates, but for light gaming, plus lots of graphic design, video work, and multitasking, it's been outstanding. The clarity, contrast, and overall experience make it hard to go back to anything else. I'm seriously considering a second one for a dual-monitor setup.

Upgraded from an odyssey led 1440p I had and I must say I'm not disappointed. The colors and black are night and day difference from the led panel I had. Has the hdmi 2.1 which performs better than your typical 1.4 display port with an anti-glare screen. The only thing I dont understand or can't rap my head around is streaming movies. My Samsung Neo Led 4k 50in tv seems to have a clearer streaming picture. Cant be sure though as distance from eyes might play a factor, but the colors on this tv are awesome. Overall really happy I made the purchase.

My monitor is awesome but turns off when you are in middle of a battle in COD. Actually, this is my second monitor that I have the first one they took it for warranty. I was hoping that this one will be better than the first one. Although, the first monitor turns off every five or less minutes, this one turns off just when you playing PS5. While I am working I have everything that I desire turns off once then I turn on again and continue working doing some code or app.
