Can't change angle
if you like to bend down to look at a screen you might like this. the angle of the screen is tilted downward and if you are using it as a desktop screen, you have it propped up on something its almost impossible to use. i have it sitting on a stack of post it notes and its still angled to far downwards for me. the screen clarity is ok. if it wasn't for the angle i would keep it but i think its going back.

i would avoid this monitor and it's baffling design if you want to mount it at all. in order to do so you have to completely remove the plastic backing of the monitor to remove the bracket for the desktop stand. i don't understand how this design made it all the way through the approval process. not good.

Bad Quality
I bought 2 monitors, one works ok - not very smooth with mac but not sure whether it is the graphic card issue or the monitor issue. The other one doesn't work from the beginning - the screen kept blinking and a solid line sits on the screen. Ridiculously I cannot return it as it passed the 15 days policy. Very disappointed for the inflexibility of the company. For bad quality like this, there should be no excuse for returning the monitor. I don't want a replacement as the working one isn't performing well either. Lesson learned.

Dont expect to actually be able to mount this
the design is absolutely ridiculous. the stand connector, which cant be removed unless you want to pry the back off the monitor and unscrew it yourself, makes it impossible to actually use the vesa mounting holes to mount the monitor. wish i?d known this earlier so i could?ve just bought a monitor that?s actually mountable like it says.

Control Hardware Low Quality
i recently bought two 27" monitor from sams. it has not being a week yet and one of the monitor's control button (control and power button is all one directional button) became loose and inoperable. the monitor is on and the image is good but i share that monitor with 2 pcs and cannot switch between analog and hdmi source. the other monitor seems to be working fine but i do not mess with the control button. i will try to exchange the monitor at sams but there is no telling is the problem will present again with another monitor. if you need to use the control button frequently, i do not recommend buying this monitor.

Gorgeous monitor
this monitor is perfect for my graphic design work. i can work in one window and still have several finder windows open on the side and have plenty of space. controls (on the back) were confusing initially, but i worked it out. there is one button but it toggles up, down, left and right.

Sadly misleading
i ordered the 24" sf354 led monitor with great expectation. i am adding another monitor to my desk and i have a windows machine and a mac tower. the windows machine found the new monitor and instantly mirrored the original samsung monitor until i extended it. the mac never recognized it and has a black screen. going into the website and trying to download drivers, come to find out that the monitor only is compatible with windows. nowhere is it stated that the monitor is not compatible with mac os. it has taken me some time to finally come to this conclusion. alot of research to find this out. very disappointed that i have to repack it all and ship it back. now i have to go find another monitor that will be compatible with both machines and look like what i already have on my desk.

Great Buy for the Price!
I bought two of these monitors over a year ago for the home office and have been happy with the purchase. The slim design takes up minimal desk space and the picture quality exceeded my expectations given the price of the monitors. The thin bezel is a plus since these are used in a dual monitor configuration and offer little distraction as I work on either screen. The look of the stands are sleek and minimalist having a small footprint on the desk. I had reserves about this model due to the lack of inputs but found just having one HDMI and VGA input are enough for how I was using them.
I do have one con about this model, the design of the stand and the location of the VESA mount holes. The stand provided with this monitor although aesthetically pleasing is fixed thus the monitor is unable to be moved up or down or inverted vertically. Because of this I recently purchased a dual adjustable monitor desk mount. To my surprise and annoyance when I went to install the monitors on this new mount a portion of the monitor stand hinge is unable to be removed from the back of the monitor shell and the location of the VESA mount holes on the back of the monitor are so close to this hinge it doesn?t allow the VESA mounting plate to sit flush. The overall design and performance of the monitor is great except for this one aspect. Moving the VESA mount holes up a couple of inches or allowing for the stand hinge to be completely removable would be the only improvement I would suggest on this model.
Overall, the monitor is an excellent buy given the price point.
