As many of the already posted reviews, my expensive watch stopped working one year after purchase and obviously no warranty. This was a while back (few years) and since I have stayed away from Samsung watches.

After owning my Active 2 watch for almost a year now, I can say that I love it and that I?m enjoying it. I like how you can download the different faces and change the band if I wanted to, which makes it seem as though I have a new watch. I can also appreciate when it automatically detects a workout, reminds me to be active after an hour or inactivity. Seeing the notifications when I reach my daily step goals and my percentage of activity goals as well is so encouraging. Other than that, The only thing I wish that I can do is respond to text messages but hey! What can I say when I have most Apple products but a Samsung Watch!

used it religiously. loved it for the most part but only while it lasts. i had issues with it twice. it kept resetting so i had to do a complete factory reset about 6 months of owning. now it completely died on me today. will not charge, turn on or do a thing. it lasted just long enough to to go out of warranty. for the price i expected much longer lasting.

i would recommend this product because of how manageable it is to use, lightweight, most importantly its speed.

I don't leave many reviews but the watch died around the 2 year point. Has been taken care of about two months ago it did not want to keep steps accurately then it would not charge finally charged but touch screen does not work. I expect devices to last.

I bought my watch last year and have been wearing it religiously. I loved it up until yesterday. It stopped keeping track of my run and today it stopped tracking my steps. I called in today to see what I can do. Turns out you only get 6 months warranty on this expensive watch. My warranty is out and so is the watch. I will not be buying this again! Not worth the money. I guess I will have to switch to apple.

Samsung says water resistance, but my watch stopped by normal use (Typical hand wash etc) I have never used it in the bathroom or pool. Samsung diagnosed it as water damage and refused to reair with a warranty. Cost of repair was over $300. You will OK if You take off your watch every hand wash or don't wear rainy days. Do not treat as the ordinary watches

I love the features of this watch. The ability to take calls, short messages, etc and the vivid colors. However, they say you should be able to wear it for up to 50 meters, claim it's water resistant. I wasn't in the pool for 5 minutes and had been it on water lock mode. The screen went Black, I immediately took it off, dried it, got home and dried it again and the back sensor fell off! Now it will not cut on! I have never dropped this watch and take very good care of it, and it was a mother's day gift. They want me to pay 75 to send it in for repairs but I've heard horror stories requesting additional money to fix because of liquid damage which shouldn't be an issue for a water resistant watch. You spend over 200 bucks and only get 14 months out of it? No thank you. So I'm not sure I'll ever buy one again.

I have had my watch since January 2020 and it is in need of a 2nd repair. I am highly disappointed. I thought this was a quality product.

my samsung s7 was getting some hair on it so i decided to get a new phone with more memory. i was sold a revvl 4+ at my metro pcs store. after getting the phone home and going through the normal gear set-up app setup , i found that i could not get the phone to connect to my active 2 smartwatch. i tried everything with no results. i could get no help from samsung or metro. samsung wanted to charge me $180 plus to fix the watch and there was nothing wrong with it. just to try, i fired up my old j7, without it?s sim card. it linked to the watch with no problem. this is an alcatell problem as they built the phone. this rant is just a warning. these 2 devices are not compatable!!

i had the galaxy active before this and that one had problem after problem. this new one seems to be good so far. i've had for 6 months and seems to be doing everything right. although the heart rate monitor/sleep tracker could perform better.

i purchased this watch to replace a broken apple watch gen 2. apple wanted $249 to replace a broken screen. i bought this watch for $199. i wore the apple watch for 5+years. it was a decent watch. my new samsung galaxy active 2 has most of the same features, operates a lot smoother (no bugs) and cost a bit less. the battery holds a charge much longer too. two gripes: 1. not all watch faces can be made to show 24 hour/military time. 2. the watchband is not long enough. longer ones are available online for a few bucks.

i traded my galaxy watch for this one. i love how sleek it is. this one looks more feminine but has everything the galaxy did. so far so good.

having a smart watch is way more useful then i would've though. i just recently purchased it but fell in love instantly. yes, there are some issues like some music apps not working sometimes and messages taking a little longer to come threw but other than that it's a 10/10

very disappointed - the watch started to behave strange, like shutting down even with 60% of battery), then suddenly went into a boot loop. the samsung logo appears with a 'rebooting' message for a couple of seconds then the screen goes off, and the boot message reappear. no solution found by support. have to pay $80 for repair. the watch does not worth it at all. an amazfit watch provides more value...

i simply love my watch. it has excellent features and a plethora of watch faces. i wish it had more apps but it really does a lot of things already. it fits wonderfully and i have no problem wearing it comfortably throughout the day. my concerns are battery life i get about a day and a half of usuage. i also wish the samsung health app worked as it once did with just the phone. my app no longer has the 0² monitor. at least not that i can find and the heart rate is strictly through the watch. wish i could do those as i choose. but those are really minor nitpicky inconveniences. this watch is really nice and the rotating bezel is a joy to use.

all the trackers work great but need improvement. the battery life is okay but takes a little over 2 hours to charge. i have had this watch for a year now and i love it. the galaxy store has a large selection of faces. works amazing with s20 plus

i had an older galaxy watch, had to be at least 4 years old so the active 2 is quite a step up. the only thing i didn't like was the band, the need to tuck the strap back into your wrist after buckling just doesn't sit well with me, so i purchased one separately. battery life could be improved. i love all the features, especially the new health options, ecg etc. i have high bp so this is exactly what i needed. very user friendly as long as long as you do not turn on the voice assistant, lol.

i was not happy that i couldn't get my watch to except text messages. that was the whole reason for buying it. i went to att, best buy, and you tube and never received the information so i took it back. so frustrating

after checking with samsung before buying to be sure it would do ecgs and work with a pixel 5, and spending over an hour with support installing and uninstalling the apps, i find out that samsung only lets this work with samsung phones. (there are hacks to side-load it on other phones, but that is ridiculous) there is no reason to make this work with only samsung phones, easily proven by the hacks. there is no reason not to say this clearly in promotional sites. there is no reason that samsung support doesn't know this and wastes everyone's time instead of admitting the problem. i will never buy any product from samsung again

everything about this watch is smooth. from the way it looks, the way it function. everything works fine. the only con is the battery, i can go from the start of my day to the next morning with only 50%, but unfortunately the other 50% percent don't last a day...more like 4hrs....don't get it. so i have to charge the watch daily cause it won't last couple of days like advertised

this beautiful pink watch works perfectly for my soft routines. but it has a huge problem; the sensor back comes out! samsung will repair with not-so-good-glue, but the sensor cover will come out again! then it is your problem! they will charge $80 because it is "damaged." they have a huge design problem. i don't sleep or swim with it! as it supposedly you can do. it is a beautiful watch? yes, the most! does it work? yes, until the sensor comes out, then their warranty is off (for me, it was 2 fantastic months, too much money for 2 months). that's it.

i bought and used for less than 2 months. it missed the back key button. it is obviously a defective item. but samsung provided the most horrible customer service. they denied it was a defective item. finally i, the customer suffer an effort.

my first experience with wearing a "fitness watch" was with a fitbit & i liked it. i stopped wearing it for several years & decided to jump back into the pool after getting my new galaxy note 20. i decided to go w/ the galaxy watch active2 because i wanted to be able to pair it to my new phone. i am so glad i did. the watch does so much & i keep discovering new things it can do, it is crazy wicked cool (do the kids still say that?) i love how easy it is to switch out the bands, because yes, i need to accessorize, along with that, switching faces is super easy too. i have had to trouble pairing it with my phone. the overall look & functionality has been great. earbuds my just be next in my “galaxy” (see what i did there?)!!

This new Galaxy Active 2 watch does it all!! I’m not a fitness fanatic, so I will not comment on the accuracy of the calorie count or heart rate monitor. I'm happy to know my daily steps taken, be reminded to move when I've been sitting too long at my computer, know my ticker is still tick’n, and receive kudos when I've reached my daily goal. First of all this is a stunning piece of technology, very sleek, and looks great on any wrist. I replaced the pale pink silicone band with a slim black...

Great Features, Good Connection to Galaxy S9
By Mommy L.
I pre-ordered and got the free battery pack which is awesome. Size & Comfort - I got the 44mm in Cloud Silver - the original band is great and comfortable, but I opted for a beautiful silver magnetic band as replacement. I have very small wrist, but I love how the larger size looks. Watch Face - I wish there were more options to customize the watch faces, but I I did find one I like. Notifictions - This connects like a dream to my Galaxy S9 and I love the notification options. I get cal...
