for gaming, this is a great monitor. for windows at least. with current-gen consoles, the screen gets choppy in motion especially with motion blur turned on but when connected to a windowspc paired with an rtx 2060 with freesync turned on, it works good and i get 71hz instead of 60hz. this would probably work better with amd cards but its not gonna be able to catch up with the performance on what you are gaming on. i'd say for 2020 standards 75hz should be the minimum for the ps5 and xsx along with amd's 6000 graphics card series and nvidia's 3000 series. yet, if you were to get this now, it would be better for productivity so it shouldn't really be labeled as a gaming monitor. but, it does get the job done.

my lc24 f390 fhn curved monitor boots up clear and sharp about half the time. the other half it boots up as a lot of flashing horizontal colored bars. this occurs both from start up and from sleep mode. the only solution so far has been to disconnect the hdmi cable from my nuc cpu and reconnect. i shouldn't have to do this.

i ordered three of these monitors. two work just fine. the third developed a vertical drop-out line right in the middle of the display which is very annoying. i contacted samsung and was told that my product was not able to be serviced in the us and they would not help me. the customer service from samsung was terrible. i escalated to a supervisor and she refused to let me escalate to her manager. all i got from customer service was "i'm sorry". well, samsung... your service is very sorry. won't be a samsung customer any longer if they refuse to service their products.

i love the looks and features of this monitor, with very easy setup and plug n play hdmi capability, it is quite easy to use with my macbook. however, i have had this monitor on 2 different desks (one at my office, one at home) and it has been very shaky/unstable on both surfaces. even simple typing will cause the monitor to shake a great deal (making it difficult to utilize). it's as if the stand connection to the back of the monitor housing itself is not stable enough. does any one else have this problem?

I am highly disappointed in the structure of this monitor. The design was poor because the monitor is not balanced with its base. It wobbles from any slight bump on the table. There is nothing to keep the screen secure. The wobbling is extremely distracting when trying to work.

I would recommend it to everybody because within these 3 years of owning this monitor not a single problem has occured. The only flaw would be the stand because it is a bit unstable and very easy to scratch. Overall a great product.

Switching from and LG 24" flat (2yrs old to this Samsung 24" Curved and let me tell you, it's night and day. First of, going from 1000:1 to 3000:1 ratio makes you feel how crisp pixels are. Also, you have dynamic, gamer and eyes saver mode which are pretty neet. Easy to install, plug and play in a jiffy!

I use this for my macbook pro and it works great with it. I am very happy with this product. Would buy again if needed to but so far no problems. Also sometimes play video games on here and resolution is good

This kind monitor 24inches is the most up to date one I ever had and it makes everything better looking and bigger and bending makes a big difference in how you see on the screen for people who never had one before and samsung Electronics are the greatest ones made for this generation and makes you fall in love with your computer all over again like you never had one before

I bought this monitor about two months ago at Best Buy. I suffer from macular degeneration and this is a huge improvment over ny old 19" monitor. The curve alows you to see the whols screen. the colors are bright and clear, Great value for the money

I bought two of these monitors at the same time. One works as advertised. The other had a flickering issue when connected with HDMI - worked ok if VGA cord was used. Since that configuration isn't an option for me, I opened a support request with Samsung and shipped it back. Upon receiving the "fixed" monitor, my computer actually blue screens (BSOD) when I plug the monitor in to HDMI. No idea if the original issue was fixed because, well... BSOD. Enjoy the video of the issue. The quality of the working monitor is OK. I thought it looked pretty good, but when I sent the bad one back, I set up an old Acer in its place. Side by side, the Acer's video/color/pixel quality looks quite visibly better than the Samsung - they have roughly the same specs. It's not curved like the Samsung, though, so maybe there is some screen-quality loss incurred when enabling that feature. I would give the working monitor 4 stars, but on the whole a 50/50 chance of it working is one-star quality. Not to mention the hours I've spent wasting time with Samsung support doing silly redundant tasks, packing, shipping, etc. I would pass on this product.

This is a very nice monitor. I have purchased three: one for my grandson and two for work. These monitors are very sharp and have good color -- I don't use them for photography, but they are quite nice. Only thing I don't really care for are the stands they come with. They are not adjustable and have a slight downward tilt. A bit annoying -- thus the four stars.

This is my first 20+ inch monitor, and I enjoy it. Has a good display and it only having two inputs doesn't bother me. It works great for me with day to day tasks, watching movies or videos and the occasional game. I sometimes forget that it is curved whenever I am looking head-on at it. Even at a distance and off center, the picture is good. The only gripe I have with it is that the combined stand pushes it a bit to forward for my taste, used to monitors that have the connectors coming up. But it is VESA compatable so just need to find a stand or mount I can use. Just wish the documentation was a bit more detailed for the connector specs, but a great monitor never the less.

I recently purchased a 24 inch curved Samsung monitor from Adorama. I have a 28 inch Samsung 4K monitor that i really like so i decided when i needed an upgrade for just receiving email i would upgrade from my Dell 17.5 inch monitor to one that is more energy efficient and a little bigger. I really like the monitor; although the curved screen has taken a little time to get used to. All in all i think it was a good buy and it came in the mail very quickly from Adorama. Still have to figure out how to configure or tweak the monitor but for now it works well with the built computer.

I had this product all of 15 minutes and had a warranty issue! Product had to be sent back to New Jersey to be fixed. I haven't even used it yet. Very upsetting.
