I bought this monitor three months ago and if I wasn’t broke I wouldn’t regret this but it is a hefty price but it’s totally worth in my eyes!!!

The power connector has a 2 pin to allow you to connect a adapter which is included with cant be removed once it has been applied this need to never be added to a power pack ever again Samsung.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. At first when we got it, I was disappointed because the screen was not operating properly. But the Samsung support staff were super stars! They assisted me with shipping it in, repairing it, and getting it back to me before Christmas. We are all set now! My son loves how well it performs with his gaming systems. Great Monitor and great support!

I purchased this product since I needed a new monitor, on the website it looked matte, when I received it, it was high gloss.. I wish that the photos on the website were more true to life. Otherwise It is a great monitor that I would definitely recommend.

Very bad design if you are going to use a vesa mount stand! There is a little stub that sticks out from the back that cant be removed.

These are nice monitors. Buying them with only DP / HDMI and the fixed stand makes them more price competitive. However, if you have a user who wants a height adjustable base or wall mount, you CAN'T remove the top of the cheap included base. See the attached photo.

Overall this monitor is a fairly good choice. The screen is big and has a much better color accuracy than I was expecting. I wasn't to fond of any features that the monitor provides such as AMD Freesync, Samsung Upscaling, or the anti glare night light setting, but I can see these features being highlights for other users. The monitor has a very slim and clean look with the menu navigator located on the back of the monitor which I really appreciate. The curved aspect of it isn't really noticeable to me, but that may just be because I haven't owned a screen of this size before. The biggest issue for me were a few pixel problems. The product shipped with a stuck pixel which was quite annoying, so I sent it back for repairs. About a week after the monitor was returned from repairs, a dead pixel has also just shown up and I don't really feel like sending it back again.

I am very pleased with these monitors. I am using two of them side by side. The purchase was driven, in large part, by the eye anti-fatigue feature, which I have really come to appreciate. It took a little getting used to, but I do find myself have considerably less eye fatigue at the end of a long day. Highly recommend, and I would buy again.

This is great monitor! There is one issue I wish the monitor upper neck is not attached, so when I mount to the VESA mount stand it would look better.

This is exactly (or even better) what you're paying for. However, you might consider spending some extra money for having better specs. The resolution is too low for the size as separate pixels are highly visible. Should consider QHD for this size, or at most 24" at FHD. It's nothing bad about this specific product, 27" just doesn't match FHD. Colors are hard to set up to be acceptable, definitely not useful for any graphics-related professional work. It's fine for coding or games. Again, at this price, it's excellent 27" FHD curved monitor and it looks great on my desk. But not sure, if it's any better than a cheap 24" FHD flat one. I'm torn.

This is my first curved monitor, and for the price I was really expecting a bit more, especially from Samsung. I've been using it as a primary display for several months now. Text and certain patterns have rainbowing that no amount of adjusting cleartype will get rid of. Smear/ghosting from light to dark is also very noticeable even with response time set to Fastest. I've tried several different cables with both HDMI and DVI with the same results. The design is nice but it did not deliver the image quality and performance I've come to expect from a Samsung product.

I deployed 12 of these monitors to 4 sales workstations. The monitors are mounted on triple monitor stands and wrap around the sales team members. Gives them a great user experience with tons of desktop space. The displays are nice and bright, with good contrast. I wouldn't use these for color calibrated anything as the 10 and 20% greys start to go away, but for the other 99% users, I really don't think you can beat the size, shape, and price point. Movies and videos look great. The blacks are really good. No ghosting that I could see during fast action. Colors are natural and not blooming like some monitors. If you are looking for a super accurate color and greys monitor, you are going to have to move up in the price range, but for the rest of the users (home and office), these are amazing.

This monitor has a stub that is part of the stand that is sticking out of the back of the monitor that cannot be removed according to Samsung Live Chat. It extends out approx. 3 inches and if you are attempting to mount this monitor on a swivel arm you will have this ugly stub sticking out rather than a smooth back.

I purchased this monitor for console gameplay and it doesn't disappoint. The responsiveness and picture quality are noticeable from first use, definitely would recommend it.

So far so good with the newest curved Samsung monitor. I had considered and liked the look of the 591 series, but really wanted one with VESA mount capability, so I was glad to see the 398 series announced with VESA mounting. Seemed like great specs for the $$$ and so far I haven't been disappointed. Nice feature set, clear picture, smooth video, and lots of adjustment in the picture settings. Only thing I would change, it would be nice to be able to remove the stub on the back where the desk stand would connect to the monitor, since I'm using it with a monitor arm bracket. If there is a way to do so, I haven't figured it out yet. Certainly not a big deal, though. That said, I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a curved monitor!
